I have put new parts in one of my doors and it is marginally better than it was originally, but I am debating adding this kit to help it out. I am glad you have had success with this. I hope it keeps working for you!
The relays are a 100% improvement, same as headlight relays, I melted my dimmer switchto my floor afterca headlight upgrade, relays prevent that, make the headlights much brighter. The kits are pricey for what you get though, easily assembled by someone that can read a wiring diagram
Yeah, I sometimes get nervous when working with the electrical, but if you take your time and plan it out it usually works out well. Thanks for the comment.
So question the problem after you put in the new motor was the old wiring harness? If so what does the new harness have that the old one doesn't or was it because it was just old harness. Thanks again.
I'm not sure I understand the question. I still have the original wire harness installed, the LMC kit just powers the windows through the relays instead of carrying all of the voltage through the old switches.
Hey brother . My passenger switch is operating my driver side 😂 . And my driver passenger switch operates the passenger switch as it should . For some reason my passenger switch doesn’t operate my passenger window . Any clues . Thanks 😊
Hmm, that seems odd. I'm not very good at diagnosing electrical issues. I guess I'd check where you made splice and make sure nothing is shorting across.
Don't try this, near impossible to get wires through the door to the cab. They way under-estimate the time and frustration, extra holes to drill. At least in an 87

So far its been working great, but I guess only time will tell. Thanks for watching!!
My 1987 had the same problem , all i did was clean and spray WD - 40 on the motors . Now they work fine !
I had tried that previously and it made a slight improvement but I was hoping for more. That's why I tried this.
Thank you for the video. I needed this
You're welcome, glad it was helpful.
Great video. Hoping for the same results on my 78 chevy caprice.
Good luck!, its been working for me so far.

Just bought that kit and the directions don't match the actual wire colors, gotta love LMC..
Thats too bad, I don't remember that being an issue.

It was a bit tricky, but I didn't have to drill extra holes in my 83. I really dislike wiring, I would pretty much rather do anything else.
