Thanks you for the videos, please could I request and English video on using the ip camera binding for onvif. I have tplink tapo c200 camera I would like to set up.
Do you know if it's possible (maybe in the future) to change the default homepage. Would be great to create your own tabbed page and set it as default homepage. Especially on a mobile phone for other family members it's pretty usefull, because we want a lot of options when we open the app. But the family members mostly want less options in their apps at first glance. Also, is it possible to change the orange colors of the interface (for example the to bar , hamburger menu, etc.)? I am styling everything with blue and yellow, but orange doesn't look great with that.
right now the default page is set but you could just use a different link. For example if you create a shortcut on your phone just use the site you want so for example yourIP:8080/page/Touch then the shortcut will go to this page instant. For the Color it would be possible but it´s basically custom css then and it´s a lot of work ;-) but you could go to help&about and change the top bar color to dark maybe this is better for you. greetings
NIce tutorial!. I have a question. Your Settings/Model screen shows your "locations" unsorted. Is there a way to set the sort order of these tree positions. In my system all are sorted alphabetically. In both your video's the screen with locations seems to be un-sorted. Is there a config / setting for this?
Hi. Thanks for your question. Yes you can drag the locations in the order u prefer. Just open the homepage/overview page and click on edit there you can drag and drop the locations.
@@_openHAB Hi thanks for your answer. But my question is about the "ip/settings/model/" page not the homepage/overview. So how do you sort the locations/equipment in the design settings/model screen?
My issue is that when creating a page and adding a block. When I try to select an item, it doesn't show like yours. Also, it doesn't save any of the settings for the widget. I looked in my logs, but there are no current logs (nothing recorded for the last month). I wish my system worked...
@@_openHAB Hi. Thanks for getting back to me. yes, I run it on a RPi 3B+. I had it running on v2 but completely rebuilt it from scratch on v3. I'm now running 3.1. It's always strange. Right after an upgrade, the system becomes unstable for a few days, randomly shutting down. After awhile, it calms down and runs normally. I'm just getting into trying to set up a new interface using strictly the MainUI (I'm currently using Basic UI with a sitemap. I tried to follow your instructions, but whenever I try to set attributes it closes the screen and doesn't save anything I've changed. I'm kind of hoping on the next upgrade it will fix itself. Rebuilding it every time something happens is not an option for me. It will just frustrate me and I will toss the whole thing. I hope this helps with some ideas. Thanks, Todd
***Update*** So, the issue I had with creating pages is now fixed. It just started working. but, of course, something else got broken, and from what I understand it's an issue for a lot of people. My sitemap works fine locally, but when I access it remotely, everything looks fine, but none of the controls work. I know that other people have issues with the remote sitemap not showing on the screen at all. I don't know if my issue is related or completely different, but both issues relate to the remote sitemap. How much should we bet that it will magically start working in a couple of weeks. :-)

sorry to hear that. So what´s your setup? Do you run it on a raspberry? How did you setup the OH3 instance and what version you are on? greetings
