Why do people hate Chrome/silver so much? My guess though is if these parts actually came in black we'd see videos of people getting them chromed instead.
Seems the mini bike scene is just about being non-stock, for better or worse.

@TTorres1183 Was kind of hoping you'd take this build in a different direction than the rest of your mini motos. It's basically rinse and repeat for all of them.
Not a lot of guys have all of the different models and it'd of been nice to see some more comparos before throwing the same aftermarket parts bin at it.
Wait⦠how would you build the trail?
@@TTorres1183 For starters, I wouldn't use a can of $15 spraypaint on the exhaust shields of a $4K bike. If you like the black, then do it right and get them powdercoated. That high heat stuff won't hold up.
And since it's a "trail" bike, then why not build it up for trail/gravel riding and replace the OE tires with a better knobby or dual sport, perhaps build the suspension to handle an adult and maybe think about gearing. Last thing I'd want to do is put some open-air intake on it that invites dirt/debris/water or make it loud in the woods. As it stands, you seem to be building your Monkey again via the Trail. It's your bike though so you do what makes you happy. Just think it's a missed opportunity to do something different and more akin to what the Trail is about.
Call me crazy but I would have ceramic coated the pipe from the head back and left the guards plated as they were.
I think gloss black looks better IMO
I'm thinking eventually. It's gonna have a different exhaust anyways. I think the black out on the heat shields is sweet.
