    Hi Steven,
    Thank you for this video - your content is always very helpful.
    Do you have any advice on removing hijackers if I have a pending USPTO trademark, but yet approved in Brand Registry? I have access to the brand registry tools, including the "Report a Violation" tool, but reporting a "counterfeit" claim under trademark violation is not an allowable option using the Report a Violation form when the trademark is only in pending status. I have tried other options in the forms to try and work around this, but my claim automatically gets "not accepted" (it doesn't seem to even get reviewed and is rejected right away). Seems like the brand registry perks with a pending trademark is non-existent...
    For what it is worth, I have also trade the "Report Infringement Form" without much success - in fact, Amazon seems to have stopped responding to my submissions there. A test buy seems to be the only option now which isn't the greater when the hijacker is in china. C&D works ok...but takes time for a seller to respond.

      As far as I can tell you have to have one TM on principal then if you have a pending in day Canada it works to take them down

    I have three unauthorized sellers I'm going to report to Amazon. Based on the test buys, they're getting their parts from an unknown source and who knows how good their quality is. They appear functionally the same, but they're packaged quite differently than mine and I cannot verify the quality. You cautioned to consider consequences of having their listing taken down ...am I on shaky grounds?
    Even though these are legacy ASIN's, created by me before I joined Brand Registry, I think I'm going to submit a Brand Registry "report a violation". It seems the "physical product" or "packaging" is the best option.
    Do you think this is a good approach ...can you recommend anything better?

    • @MyAmazonGuy
      @MyAmazonGuy  Месяц назад +1

      Your approach is solid. Reporting the violation through Brand Registry using physical product as the reason is the right move. Since these are your legacy ASINs, you have a strong case. Just make sure you have all your documentation and test buys ready. This will strengthen your claim and help Amazon take action.

    My hijackers keeps removing himself from my listing and then getting back on later because I assume he knows he will get reported. I bought the product from him to show amazon it’s fake but he’s not currently on my listing. What should I do?

    • @MyAmazonGuy
      @MyAmazonGuy  Год назад

      I'm sorry to hear about the issue with your hijacker. In this situation, it's important to take immediate action to protect your listing and report the violator to Amazon. To report hijackers who are selling on Amazon, you can scroll down on your listing page and click on 'Get Support.' From there, you can report the violators by typing in 'report a violation' and clicking 'continue.' It's crucial to provide all the necessary evidence, such as screenshots or communication with the hijacker, to support your claim. Additionally, you can consider implementing strategies to prevent future hijacking attempts, such as monitoring your listing regularly, using brand registry, or using Amazon's Transparency program.

    Hi Steven,
    Thanks for your continued magical videos. Actually, you did this video but I just watched now (LoL)
    Okay. So, my question is I just found someone who got hijacker. But, what amazon is telling him "as they hijacked your listing when you are non-brand (generic), so we can't help you in this case".
    This is the exactly the same sentence they told him. So, what can he do now?
    Thank you, Steven!

      If you recently obtained a trademark through the Amazon Brand Registry and are experiencing difficulties reporting hijackers on your listing, here are some steps you can take:
      Ensure Trademark Registration: Double-check that your trademark registration is fully processed and reflected in the Amazon Brand Registry. It can take some time for the registration to be fully recognized by Amazon's systems.
      Contact Amazon Seller Support: Reach out to Amazon Seller Support and explain the situation. Inform them that you have a valid trademark through the Brand Registry, but you are unable to report hijackers on your listing due to the "Not Valid for Reporting Counterfeit" error. Request assistance in resolving the issue.
      Provide Documentation: Be prepared to provide documentation to support your trademark ownership, such as the trademark registration certificate or any other relevant evidence. This will help demonstrate the validity of your claim and assist Amazon in resolving the issue.
      Follow Up: Stay in regular contact with Amazon Seller Support and persist in seeking a resolution. If you encounter difficulties with one representative, try reaching out to a different agent who may be able to assist you further.
      Consult Legal Professionals: If the issue persists or you need additional guidance, consider consulting with a legal professional experienced in intellectual property and Amazon-related matters. They can provide specialized advice and assist you in navigating the situation.
      Remember to remain patient and persistent throughout the process. Document all communications and maintain records of your trademark registration and any supporting documentation. This will help in resolving the issue and protecting your brand on the Amazon platform.

    I’ve been able to get them off with a polite message followed by a minor threat to take action all without brand registry. My question is.. can their imitation products cause bad ratings on your listing?

    I used to think amazon itself doesn't allow anyone to stick to a brand registered listing and requires brand invoices.

      Brand Registry helps prevent issue. But it's still very easy to get listed on any ASIN on Amazon to this day.

    Hi, i have a ranking question. My product has launched for around 4 months, and i fixed the price and the ppc bids low for about 2 weeks, and it had a good seating in the rankings and sales. Then i tried increasing the price by 1 dollar for a week, then the sales dropped significantly in that time. So that did not work out, so i put my price back, but i guess the rankings have suffered from that week so the sales did not go back to normal, even when i tried to decrease the price from the original price. This is normal right? Since my rankings took a toll from my attempt to increass the price? So this means i need to increase my bids temporarily to get back on track? I wanted to know if the cause of decrease in sales was from my attempt to test at a higher price

    • @MyAmazonGuy
      @MyAmazonGuy  3 года назад +2

      Dave - you're on the tright track. I doubt a single $1 raise is the biggest issue here though. There might be a broader PPC impression problem. Make sure the listing is fully optimized, has A+ content, 6 photos, 1 video etc. I think you would beneift from a coaching call from Brandon on my team based on your note, he can help you figure out the issue! myamazonguy.com/book-a-coaching-call/

    What if one day you went to check your listing and every single image disappeared and only the main image remained? Could it be possible a hijacker or possible competitor somehow got into your listing and removed the images? Also I am brand registered, and I am the only person offering an original product
