Love the coat! I actually had a pretty identical one in the 90's! It actually became my Mastitis coat after I had my babies. It was cozy and the only thing that didn't hurt to wear.

Beautiful goodies Melinda. Ostrich is very hardy. Terry and I both have custom made ostrich cowboy boots and we slog around in the rain, snow,( when we visit the in-laws ) mud, etc. and they aren’t damaged at all. I just take them to the saddle shop and have them polished regularly. I also have another just normal pair of ostrich boots and one of my Dior saddle bags is ostrich no issues with any of them. So use and enjoy your beautiful new bag. 😊

Something similar happened to me. Our Viking river cruise ended in Paris and we planned to stay 2 additional days before flying home. The first night at the Hyatt I slipped getting out of the shower/tub. Their tubs are incredibly high and hard for short people to maneuver. I was laid out the entire time we were in Paris and couldn't get out of bed. The good news is that I made my visit to Chanel the first day we were there. But other than Chanel I can't say I've seen Paris. We also plan to return. P.S. Your bag is gorgeous!!
Beautiful bag ❤, I am with you, just get quality curated bags instead of quantity. Ostrich needs to be careful with rain, and will get darker over time especially on the handle with hand cream etc.

They are all so beautiful. I am so glad you had a wonderful experience in LV. That’s what luxury shopping should be like. The last time I was in London and Paris I noticed that people did wear hats but only when it’s very cold. In Australia it’s the opposite we wear them when it’s hot as protection from the sun. I would never wear a baseball cap in London or Paris. It instantly puts a sign on your head that says American/ tourist/ easy target. It’s very sad that pick pocketing and bag snatching has reached the point where wearing a cap, or any other items that marks you out as a tourist is inadvisable, but I have been warned that sadly it has.
Yes that is how luxury shopping should be! I was only going to wear it to breakfast in our hotel but my hair behaved so I was able to skip it. We wear them everywhere here, good coverup for bad hair days lol. It is sad it has reached that point.

Hi! So sorry to hear about your back. My husband suffered from sciatica. He tried everything. The only thing that worked and took the pain away and it has never came back was diet. He did an anti-inflammatory diet. Once he started to do it, a few days in he was feeling a relief. Seems odd, but the pain was linked to his stomach. Not sure if this was your case. But wanted to share if it helps in any way. I know it is super painful. I hope you feel better soon.
Beautiful coat. The logo is so subtle on the ivory side, very nice. You have a couple of solid pink bags so this ombré one makes such a nice change. Such a huge saving too even if it is a pricier bag. Very pretty. As a side note on hats, in Europe we generally take hats off when inside but if you are eating outside, you’d probably be given a pass. Wearing a hat indoors can be viewed as ill mannered.

Hi. Imagine if you had caught a glimpse of that glue spot while you were unboxing this bag? I tried to see it, but never really saw the back with the angle to see the glue. If I had I was going to give you the number in the video to go take a look. Your replacement bag is actually nicer since it's different from what you already have. Enjoy the beautiful jacket. congrats on that stunning ostrich. also thank you for stating you will do a video about vat and customs, as I am curious to know how getting an exotic worked out. what was needed and also what did LV give you to be ready for customs or did you have to ask? i only ask because I've heard it's an issue to bring em in and also to take them out to other countries. if and when I have an exotic I would like to be prepared with whats needed if I take it out or bring it back in.
Thank you! For ostrich they don't give you any paperwork. They do for python and lizard and I assume croc and alligator too. Coming into the USA they didn't ask either time what kind of bags I bought or what types of leathers. They told me 6 years ago in France when I got my python handle bag that you need to bring the certificate to travel to some countries with the bag. I don't think of my capucines as a travel bag so I didn't ask which countries. But USA you can bring them anywhere.

congrats on that stunning ostrich. also thank you for stating you will do a video about vat and customs, as I am curious to know how getting an exotic worked out. what was needed and also what did LV give you to be ready for customs or did you have to ask? i only ask because I've heard it's an issue to bring em in and also to take them out to other countries. if and when I have an exotic I would like to be prepared with whats needed if I take it out or bring it back in.
Thank you! For ostrich they don't give you any paperwork. They do for python and lizard and I assume croc and alligator too. Coming into the USA they didn't ask either time what kind of bags I bought or what types of leathers. They told me 6 years ago in France when I got my python handle bag that you need to bring the certificate to travel to some countries with the bag. I don't think of my capucines as a travel bag so I didn't ask which countries. But USA you can bring them anywhere.
