And he makes it look so easy, thats the sign of pure talent
How many artists can, off the cuff, sing a song just like the original recording, one of the best ever.
better than the original. utterly rare talent
Tears of joy and sadness well up whenever I hear this amazing composition.
This song is such a beautiful and precious gift to the world. Thank you Paul
How good is this performance! Jeez that is talent!
I've been playing guitar a while, then I watch this and think wow, I'm a beginner
That is just so AMAZING.
I love this guy and how he brings life to us through his music and words. Pure love.
Top 5 songwriter of all time. BAM 💥
How did this make me sob?
It took coming to the North of England for Paul Simon to distill the essence of wanting to be somewhere else.
Lol.. I understand exactly.
simply magical
My favorite song of his since college , Peter & Gordon does a wonderful cover as well
Thanks. I love Paul Simon and S&G. Here you can see him playing acoustic like a kind of tutorial.
I felt a deja vu playing this song in a foreign soil where I tarried for fifteen years!
To my susprise, most of these songs by Simon and Garfunkel is likely to be suprimposing on my experiences as an OFW vagabond in other countries!
I love how he just casually edges the capo up on the low string to adjust the tuning.
Edges up?
A capo must be behind the strings.
The tuning is standard.
@@MilesBellas the intonation
KEEP THE CAMERA ON THE GUITAR... PLEASE!!!
This music unfortunately has gone forever , all time classic by a classic artist …class
It's here in youtube
If I remember the show correctly Paul Simon and Michael Parkinson did not get on very well.
Colin Dingwall yes I could imagine that’s true. Parkinson had a directness that was disconcerting to a lot of his American guests..
Love that Guild F30
👍👏👏
Alternative title "It's Grim Up North"
It's not a very hard song to play once you know it
I think he can play that song in his sleep
That's when he could sing.
What a nice comment. :(
