I worked in harrods during the 1990s and I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Al Fayed. He was so humble and such a gentleman. Hehad such passion for Harrods as being such a world class store. Every morning, before the store opened, he would quietly walk.arpumd the store to inspect everything was to his liking. He had such a warm, friendly and down to earth way about him. I think once his son Dodi passed away, he lost all interest in his business ventures and hence his decision to sell Harrods.
I really enjoy this seemingly kind & gentle, wise, dear Man. One can feel his great loss & state of mourning acutely. I wish him peace over his losses.
A man with a true heart ...My Hero forever.💙 Harrods will always remind me of you Mr Alfayed . I visited Harrods 2006/ 2007 ? Bought two beautiful bears for my son. Most importantly visited princess Diana & Dodi 's statue & pictures...So beautiful. Very tearful day . I visted 2017 had beautiful high tea with family & friends . I felt a homely feeling but also an empty sad feeling .💌💌💌💙💙💙💙💙💙
@neus001 Trevor Reese Jones' book made him sound like a control freak. He was obsessed in trying to get everyone to think the KGB killed his son and Diana. He tried to control Trevor after the crash, until Trevor's parents said enough.
@neus001 No I was just replying off your comment below when you said that if you read his Wikipedia, you can't help but wandering if anything he says is true. I thought you were talking about Mohamed Al Feyed. I was commenting how he was portrayed as a control freak in Trevor's book. The book also said while he could be very nice, he tended to talk at people instead of to them, demanding to be in charge all the time.
Be honest its not easy living in America it has become England not only that its got to be fair to other countries and cultures but they still seem to get the spot light in our country 😉
I hope Mr. Mohmad Alfayed to unite bridge pillars as high as one or two meters so that if a car hits a bridge support it can still slide not as badly as a car hits a bridge pillar so that an accident hitting pillar like what happened to princess Diana Dodi does not happen again sorry and thank you
Someone of us can read between the lines and we know what happened, others like you have no sense and will never no matter how much evidence they are shown.

Miss Smith yes I agree with you
Miss Smith I worked at Lonrho in the 90s. My view of Mr Al-Fayed is slightly different to yours.
I like him too!
Big claims of SA against him now, particularly for his time at Harrods.
@@calderjonhughes Tom Bower may agree.
Mohamed Al Fayed is a good hearted man, I am still so sorry for his loss. Dodi & Diana will never be forgotten ♥️

Miss Smith what happened to Harrods after he left it ?
Yes it has never been the same when Qatar bought it So saaaaaaad
Miss Smith
Fully agree
I agree he ran it far better than todays owner . It’s lost its gloss completely
It seems he got one over Tiny Rowland with Mrs Thatcher's nod & a wink to grab Harrods
You are the finest...
Was such a lovely man.
Good friend to someone close to me Ali keseruani.
