Thank you for showing me how to pick a lock. i used two hairpins and did it the way you demonstrated it. i put the two hairpins next to each other like you showed with the safety pins and then i turned them and put the little screwdriver in and it popped it. We had to get out our gate. We have a package coming tomorrow and also we would have had to order a bolt cutter which wouldn't arrive till Friday. Also how do you go out the gate to get the bolt cutter? Yeah thanks! Mission accomplished.

So, basically, to open the kind of lock he opened, you need to push the pins into the correct position. This requires actually pushing the pins. So the way he did it on way 1 would not work. If you look closely you can tell the video cuts then the lock is unlocked. So coming from a normal human being who knows how lovks actually work, the first way doesn't work. Again, with the second method, the pins would not be able to be pushed that way. It didnt seem like there was a cut here, so he either altered the lock or this is some kind of trick lock that opens if you do nothing. I'd also like to point out that the video only shows 2 "methods"

... can't see what you do with the pin in the last methid, with the small slot screw driver. Do you slip it into the lock, and then also use the screwdriver...? Thanks for the video :-)
midnightchannel all it is, is the safety pin is being used to hold up the pics inside due to the safety pin putting force upward on the pic locks then just put in your little flat head and turn then boom . Unlocked
