The train at Platform 4 is the 16:14 Transport for Wales service to Manchester Oxford Road. Calling at: Cwmbrân Abergavenny Hereford Ludlow Shrewsbury Crewe and Manchester Oxford Road.
I was at Newport last Saturday to film some rugby extras feat IETs and the WAG service. I heard Ruth do train not stopping which is ultra rare, points failure and Railway Bylaw No. 30. etc. I also recorded the Pembroke Dock announcement in September.
TrainspotterPhil HD I’ve heard the not stopping an few times before, but I’ve never heard the no skateboarding one at Newport and I’ve never heard ‘Points failure’ before, good catch!
@@Parallel395 There were a few ECS movements through platform 3 and 4 from Cardiff to Swindon or Stoke Gifford depot. Never heard of it previously so it was nice to hear it. I'd love Ruth and Eryl to mention carriage formation etc and more changing at announcements.
TrainspotterPhil HD Definitely, they could do with reconfiguring their announcements, I’d cut the mind the gap one unless it’s a station known for having a large gap/step down.
Your attention please, we are sorry that the 12:13 service to Glasgow Central is delayed by approximately 10 minutes. CrossCountry apologists for this late running, and the inconvenience this may cause you.

Loved it!
Oxford Road rather than Piccadilly ey...?
RWL2012 I think there engineering works but can’t remember exactly where! :)
Overcrowding because of a rugby match! I've never heard of a delay reason so "real world" before haha
RWL2012 One I hear a lot on GWR is ‘overcrowding as this train has fewer coaches than normal’ :)

Because life brought you here, youngling!
