If that pup’s mom was around those humans would have been charged at.
The sea lion encounter happened to me multiple times the same day. Sometimes the moms die and the kids get orphaned and starve. This was in Galapagos, where animals don’t fear man.

Was in San Francisco! About 6 years ago,before all Hell broke out! There's a sea lion that comes everyday 2 c her friend that feeds her raw chicken. She was amazing! He said he'd been feeding her for years!!!!! I used 2 go 2 Cabo every year for 2 weeks,with my best friend!!! We would go 2 L❤vers Beach,every couple of days and swim out 2 this Huge rock that all these sea lions would sun! We would look up n talk 2 them trying 2 get them 2 jump in!!! Her husband would say ya'll r dumb-dumbs😂 u know 🦈 also hang out waiting 4 them 2 jump in😮!! 10 years of doing this never saw a 🦈😳❤but 1 time jet skiing went over 2 c them and Mr. 🦈 was sun bathing about 40 feet away 🥴
@@user-gg6lr2lc1v Yes, when the animals are playing or coming up to you a bit but you see this poor pup that can’t move and is almost flat in shape.
@Rorschachqp Just seeing ur comment. Agree! But wish they had called a rescue!? I only watch animal rescues n true stories about them! They are always rescuing these babies! Hope poor baby made it.😊❤
@@user-gg6lr2lc1v They (the Ecuadorian government) don't believe in any human interference with the ecosystem. They allow a limited amount of tourists to come in to help fund maintenance of the pristine condition of nature.
If they chased after animals, eventually the entire island's animals will start running from humans, which would ruin the place.

I hope that man called in wild life rescue for that seal pup because he has either been abandoned due to health and size unable to migrate with the rest or hes been orphaned and his parents died. Either way he was definitely starving and his eyes looked like he had a cold and was desperate and sad they also feel depression like we do as well and without the rest of the pack he will lose his will to live. Ugh heart breakingb. IM COMING ANDRE MOMMAS COMING TO SAVE YOU. if only that were true! I would be so honored and excited
