Apparently in any source i can find anemone, in the language of flower means forsaken love and i can't find any that says "i love you". Japanese themselves think anemone as ill tiding so does the chinese. Good work trying to edit it and all but i think you hit a miss-translation mine there
I think I understand the meaning of the song and it broke my heart to be honest. I mean -In the end of the movie, Kazune is gone. - This song is about Karin and Kazune. Karin loves him and Kazune loves her back. - Anemone: Forsaken love - The lyric seems like Karin saying goodbye to Kazune (If I must conclude it means Karin loves Kazune but Kazune is dying so she confess her love to him with Anemone flowers which mean she loves him but she knows he will gone sooner or later).
This song is reminds me to Bataknese song titled "Hansit Do Gabe Au (English: How much it hurts to be me)" by Osen Hutasoit. Because this song is a story about unrequited love as a result is never considered to exist
