The Angel face you see is the Haserot, named “The Angel of Death Victorious". The stoic angel is seated on the marble gravestone of canning entrepreneur Francis Haserot and his family. Holding an extinguished torch upside-down, it represents a symbol of life extinguished. Wings are outstretched and the gaze is straight ahead.
IN THE END, DEATH ALWAYS WINS. LEST THE FACES NOT BE FORGOTTEN...
This channel is focused on casually walking and viewing a handful of the thousands of forgotten names and faces at various cemeteries near and afar. Seeing their faces up close. And when able, telling the stories behind their names.
Most graves are unknown and lost to history.
    Some are famous.
    And some infamous....
    ....and some with tragic endings.

I’m from Tomahawk, 40 miles away, and about 4 years ago, I was introduced to a approximately 40 year old dude named Jason who’s father was a dirty, abusive reservation tribal officer in Lac Du Flambeau.
According to Jason his father, now deceased, used to carry a “ rape kit” in the trunk of his police car!
Jason alleged he had mental health issues from his cop father beating him over the head with his flashlight.
Jason was on adderol, anti psychotics and depressants.
He also told me his dad admitted to him that he raped and murdered Susan!
He informed me the rape kit, which he claims to have saw many times, contained duct tape, a tarp, rope, handcuffs and objects of torture.
He also claims items of the rape kit such as objects which he was beaten with, we often used on him by his father!
Jason is this cops son and should be easy to track down. Jason also claims he himself contacted the fbi and several law enforcement agencies and was interviewed but never went anywhere.
I’ve seen Susan’s sign for three decades snd it’s always troubled me.
When Jason told me the story I was jaw dropped!
I pray this case is solved, thank you!

Very very interesting....and horrifying if true. Now this maybe would explain why DNA profile evidence didn't match up with "the two guys" who took Susan from the party (speculating that they took swabs from both of them in 2014).
Spot-on then to now try the familial geniology DNA matching approach. IT IS NOW TIME.

There is absolutely no excuse for this crime to be ignored like it has been. And especially when you made the offer that you did! We are constantly hoping for advancements in fighting crime and the biggest one to date, DNA testing, is not being utilized, and that's a sin. Susan deserves justice and this family deserves answers. All of that could be resolved with one very accessible DNA test. Not only could it solve the crime, but it could eliminate potential suspects and give them their good names back. Cities, towns and villages spend thousands to millions of dollars settling lawsuits because they locked up the wrong person. This is their chance to do it right at a cost that would be a whole lot less than that. This kind of stuff really angers me because there are avenues left open that they are seemingly refusing to take. Avenues that could be the answer to everything. Just a dirty shame. This is their job and their duty to try and solve this crime with every possible tool they have, and yet they appear to refuse to use the biggest and best tool they have. I would call this negligence and I am not even sure how any of these authorities can even sleep at night. RIP Susan. We won't forget you ❤💐

I have to wonder whether the investigation was handled by the rez police, by the city, or by the state. The police on the rez certainly have limited resources, and the others may not care too much, as she was "only" an Indian.
And yes, most people, including most "Native Americans," prefer and routinely use the word "Indian." It is not a derogatory term. It's just a word, and words have no more power than someone gives them.

Since your in the Wisconsin area I was wondering if you've ever done a review on Joanne Esser? I went to school with her. Grade school. Such a sweet young lady who has haunted me ever since her murder. But the real story comes in with her parents. Please, I beg you to look her up and see the reaction of her family! They went for a change. Big change. I'll type no more. I'd like you and your helpers to find out for yourselves.
Thanks for doing what you do so well. You're one with a big heart, you know that? We sure do!When I first saw your channel I was hooked. I'm 1/4 Ojibwe on my dad's side and from Minnesota. It's so weird my grandparents on that side were very proud of their native American heritage yet devoutly Catholic. I never really understood that..weird

I saw this video earlier this morning. Like many others here. I too was moved by the cash incentive to anyone who can help solve this cold case murder . I'm sure even at this time. Her family wait on justice. To many of these First Nations murders go unsolved. Darn near epidemic. Some way more recent. But this be a very worth while pursuit. Thank-you Mr Carlson!

I hope this case can be solved . I have listened to Ms Fitzpatrick many times when she explained, her process of working the genetic dna. One thing I do recall is it a bit harder to work on NativeAmerican dna #1 because there are not many samples to work with in their data banks for comparison.
#2 each tribal area ,group of Rez is a small gene pool which makes it very hard to trace family trees.
But hopefully this case can be solved. ❤ For this family.
