This channel is so beautiful and it truly captures the innocence, heart, kindness and beauty of the '80s. Keep making these great videos! People in the 80s were waiting for the 90s and believing that there'd be flying cars in the year 2000, lol. The 80s were felt worldwide each to their country's own way, but it had similar themes.

That has to be the best find for those Mysteries of the Unknown. When I was a kid, I was really, really into those types of mysteries like Bigfoot, The Loch Ness Monster, The Bermuda Triangle, etc. any type of unsolved mysteries (I also watched the show Unsolved Mysteries).
Wow!! I'll have to keep my eye out for more of those books. I started rereading the UFO one, and it's still great! I liked Unsolved Mysteries too, but I'm not gonna lie... it sometimes freaked me out, ha!

I wish I had more time to go to Estate Sales. You find the coolest stuff. I still have my View Master around the house somewhere, LOL. I use to love playing with it when I was a kid. Rick Springfield was actually in Cincinnati a few days ago on the 29th of December!!!
Estate sales are fun (and addicting, lol!) It's the closest thing to a treasure hunt for me. We don't have as many sales in the winter, but I'll be back at it soon. We still haven't had a chance to see Rick Springfield perform live, but we definitely hope to!
I have a hot pink Caboodle my mom gave me, because she asked if I wanted it before she threw it out. I was using it as a first aid kit for awhile, until I grabbed one of those square Caboodles with all those fold out compartments. I think it's empty at the moment, if I remember correctly. For my plushies, I use baby wipes and similar wipes to clean them. I don't have a dryer, so they'd end up sitting there damp and possibly getting mold lol!
That's cool that you have your mom's old Caboodles! My original was a light pink one with the more square corners, which I think was the first design. I really wish I'd kept that one... guess I'm making up for it now, lol! I use baby wipes for all kinds of cleaning, they're so handy! I didn't know that, how interesting! I was never a big Ninja Turtles fan myself being that we were teenagers by the time they became popular, but I know they're collectible so I often snag vintage TMNT items whenever I see them. Thanks Flint!

By the way, I have been into paranormal, mysteries, unknown and strange things since I was a kid but for some reason I don't remember that set of Time Life books. I actually have some 2005 care bears have 2 of them they came with the original tag on of them has 2 different dates it says 2005 but the but tag says 2006 its a good luck bear and the other bear friend bear
