hey I'm working on my application for umass rn and this got me so excited! i went to visit the campus during the summer and i remember it being kinda far from the city. how far is the target that you went to from umass? im just a bit worried about being isolated in the middle of nowhere if i end up going there. just for some context ive grown up in a big city for my whole life and so im just curious to see how convenient it is for students there to get to places. thanks in advancee and i love your content btww

Is it really a party school?

yes because there are a lot of parties and people go crazy during blarney (st patricks day tradition) but since it's such a big school, you don't have to be involved at all if it isn't your thing. people who enjoy going out have the option to, but me and a lot of my friends like staying in and it's completely normal :)

at the time i filmed this i lived in oak hall but now i live in maple! they are both in the honors living community, but if you are a freshman coming in that isn't in the honors college it is still possible to get into honors housing i think
