    my opinion is dolphins are really cool animals, they have parts of their brain activated they we dont, and our intellect is not complete. theres no reason to stop where we are with what they have taught us, when we could be expanding. we shouldnt be so proud of our intellects when we still have so much to learn. as far as thinking we know everything there is to know about dolphins, and that we are better off without learning from them, i wont support that. we still have a lot to learn.

  • @JackPoppy

    I'd be glad to see this film, if not for the fact that their behavior isn't amusing at all, yet is an attempt to warn us of the coming destruction of the Earth to make way for a Hyperspace Bypass.

  • @alvinjosuechica
    @alvinjosuechica 13 лет назад

    @GenerationEpic90 i do love dolphins and i want to do it because i have never seen them and i have read many books on dolphins and it has inspire me to become one but i agree because cap is noit their natural habitat i just wanna be around dolphins that it i really want to see them oaround me i want to pet them and stuff that th eonlyu reason i want to be a dolphin trainer and forgive me for my grammer

  • @gucker07
    @gucker07 15 лет назад

    The question should be: How do *you* know that they're as smart as humans? All evidence (behavior) says this is not the case. The burden of proof is on you.

  • @gucker07
    @gucker07 15 лет назад

    For a start you're saying that I'm "in love with my own intellect" when I'm merely stating the facts. The evidence is there BTW.

    its so easy to just sit in our warm homes and tell those people in other countries to stop killing dolphins but they are poor and have nothing, thats there way of money, food, lifestyle, taking that away from them would be like taking their whole life away, we need to go teach them some new skills so they will stop needing to kill dolphins because they are such beautiful, wonderful, peaceful, kind,loving creatures

  • @scrubjay93

    @tomasaguiarftw you are confusing Japanese and Chinese and dolphins with sharks. Shark fins are a great delicacy in China, traditionally served at every wedding and fancy dinner. Fishermen take the fins off of sharks and throw them back in the water. Nobody does this to dolphins.

  • @gucker07
    @gucker07 15 лет назад

    We are a lot smarter than chimps. And if your friend solves math problems faster than the other guy then he would probably do better in an IQ test as well.
    And we don't know much about their communication, guesses like "maybe ten times faster" are irrelevant.

    @sm0rz I am an 'American person' and I am aware of the disgusting conditions under which chickens and other animals live, which is why I DO NOT eat them. So I guess I'm not being hypocritical, but anyone who knows this and pays people to maim and kill animals for their pleasure while claiming they feel sympathy or care for others' suffering, is being hypocriitcal.

    While dolphins in captivity can do amazing things, I would much prefer to see them in the wild. I don't mind human interaction with them, I don't think they mind it either, but they are intelligent and deserve respect. Also why is it so difficult to find a documentary on dolphins that isn't about them performing...

  • @iksarguards

    @tomasaguiarftw They crop the fins off sharks. Dolphins have a lot of good meat on their bodies, throwing that resource back into the water would be a waste of everyone's time, wouldn't it.
    At least pretend to know what you're incensed about, yes?

    No matter how much care you give to a dolphin, they just don't belong in the captive. They belong in the wild. Put them in captive just like giving them a slow painful death. People should be informed about this. All those sea world and sea park are just taking advantage on this beautiful creature.
