Funny how the GP39-2 is more exciting to see than the head end of most BNSF trains, usually the same old GEVOS or crappy Dash 9s so nothing missed there.

At the hump yard In Tulsa Oklahoma, they won’t even let watch it from anywhere near there yard Thanks BNSF.

right - the Interbay hump area is wide open, not even fenced like much of the rest of the yard. It really is super cool. Hopefully everybody will continue to behave so they don't have to fence it. They sometimes have extra power, (sometimes even brand new stuff,) parked on a side track right there too. And on the north end up past the big old roundhouse there is a track of really old, no longer used engines.

I agreed I’ve been told by BNSF that I can’t go anywhere near the hump yard. If I remember from law school. They must have no trespassing signs and it must be fenced. Now don’t quote me law school was 14 years ago

When I lived it Oakland California. I’d drive to the SP , WP and the ATSF yards and watch trains any time day or night

Worked at Symington Yards (Winnipeg) hump many years ago. No glamour in this when you’re pulling pins at -40 degrees.

@@lucasrailfanning3305 hopefully the train didn't get any damage from that hit when it failed the hump

biggest problem is the remote control boxes hanging around their necks, but that's progress and profits for ya.

Amazing how an engineer can make or break a switch crews day. Especially when flat switching.

some cars are too heavy to let go from up top in this mini hump. Gotta cut them off near the bottom...pain in the ass...
