Vocational Rehabilitation (Voc Rehab) is beyond horrible here in Georgia. I called the phone number for head of all Voc Rehab offices to try to get the name of my new Voc Rehab counselor along with their work phone number and their work email. Instead I got a different phone number to call to leave a message that will never ever be answered. My dad went behind my back and called that number to leave a message that will never get answered meaning I will never get a call back at all. This is keeping from being able to get help with a job coach at the Goodwill Career Center located at the Decatur, GA Goodwill to get a better paying part time job at 20 hours a week.
I'm sorry you are having so much trouble, and I'm sorry it took a while to respond. I hope maybe you've had a response to that message since then, though I hate your dad did that without your OK. I would call the original number back and ask again, also following up with if all you can do is leave a message, how long will it take someone to respond and is there a way you can escalate? I wish I knew of a way to help more, but from what I can tell, any state services are a nightmare to deal with in most states, particularly southern states. We'll have to get involved with unemployment because of my husband soon and I'm assuming it will be a similar situation.
