    Sir, vertical members and diagonal members are experiencing both compressive and tensile loads but design of vertical are with compressive only and diagonal is with tensile only. Why so????????

    in design of joint there is 638.4KN force in member uou1 and you are blindly taking 279.3 KN.which is given wrong in the book.

      @@Technicalcivil sir dia. Of bolt to 20 assume Kiya h na fir apne bola ki half of dia. Lenge to 10 hoga na sir 6.5 kaise
