  • #HarKaamDeshKeNaam In support of the nation’s fight against #COVID19, the #IndianNavy launched Operation #SamudraSetu II, for shipment of liquid medical oxygen-filled cryogenic containers and associated medical equipment from Indian Ocean Region #IOR neighbours. INS Talwar, mission deployed in the Persian Gulf, was one of the first ships to be diverted for this task. The ship embarked two 27 MT cryogenic Liquid Medical Oxygen tanks and entered New Mangalore on 05 May 2021. The liquid oxygen containers were contributed by the Kingdom of Bahrain on 30 April 2021 to support India’s fight against COVID. Additional Indian Navy ships are scheduled to arrive at Indian ports carrying liquid oxygen and other critical medical supplies in the coming days thereby strengthening the nation’s fight against COVID19.
