Everton fan here, absolutely I thought our first half was poor and you were the better side, the reverse was true second half. Wharton for you guys was quality. Good luck for the reason of the season.
Agreed. What we’re annoyed at with ourselves is that we allowed your fans to have hope and when Goodison is rocking, it’s a fortress. Just our luck Brandwaite was back 😫. He was quality. Hopefully him and Guehi pairing for England soon All the best for the season
@@EagleEyedFootball Absolutely bud, our two sides will be fine this season, Glasner will turn your season around and we'll get a new gaffer by November.
*We can’t keep pretending that Glasner will sort this out, THAT IS WHAT PRE-SEASON IS FOR! He is not the master tactician he appeared to be with last seasons end results (we had that with Roy). The majority of our players are not committed to the club!, and only see wearing the red and blue as a gate way to top six or euro clubs. Realistically we are once again in BIG! trouble.* 🤨
Everton fan here, enjoyed your video and good luck for the rest of the season, as you said in the 1st half you needed a 2nd goal as we were poor. 2nd half we played better and it helped us a lot having Branthwaite back as hes not played all season. all the best lads.

I was at Everton I agree with some of the comments-I thought we controlled the game first half but against a poor Everton team- we squandered a lot of good attacking positions in that first half due to miscommunication which will improve as the season wears on -the Everton fans weren’t quiet in the first half they were stressed and angry and noisily booed the half time whistle-we always were vulnerable as we did not capitalise when we were commanding-as we did not against Brentford West Ham and Leicester-we know Dwight McNeil is a top player as we tried to buy him when at Burnley he produced the afternoons best moment a goal of stunning quality out of nothing that u cannot do anything about-that ignited the Everton team and the crowd -Everton’s second was as soft a goal to concede as palaces and disappointing defending -Everton then sat on their lead and palace were once again poor in chasing a game-we had little goal threat in that second half-I don’t blame individual s for that but as a team we were innocuous we were predestrian predictable and allowed Everton a comfortable hold on to their win-we offered v little goal threat - we just gave branthwaite and tarkowski -heading practice -perhaps there are stamina fitness doubts with some of the players who seem to fade as game wears on-for Liverpool we should at last have our first choice back three with Trevor added to Marc and max -lerma can then come into and stiffen our midfield-Matheus will give us a better option from the bench than schluppy -I don’t know what to say about jp he is either brilliant or poor yesterday he was poor
Sorry you had to see that guys. Dreadful result. I can’t work out why the squad suddenly lost all composure in the first 10 minutes of the second half. Three points goes to zero points in what felt like the blink of an eye, and I never felt like we were on the verge of an equalizer. What do you think is wrong? Is it the setup with players out of position? Lack of confidence? Lack of chemistry? What should we expect to see from Glasner to right the ship? Because so far, it’s been a demoralizing start to the season. Not sure you'll want to host a match reaction tomorrow, but I'll aim to be there if you do. UTP!
@@EagleEyedFootball Okay then. New talking point: we go into the Liverpool match in the bottom three for the first time since 2017? (I'm sure I'm missing some poor runs, but this season already has some 2017 vibes.)
You might want to watch the McNeil goal back lads... Kamada had 3 Everton players in front of him, he passed to Eze, maybe a little short and that's partly his fault, but Eze is more at fault, instead of moving towards the ball he drops down to one knee and prays nothing happens from losing it.
Eze was already backing up to go towards the byline and Kamada was aware of that coz he looked up twice. The weight of pass was the issue which unbalanced Ebs imo. Plus he had acres on time and space to make a better decision
@@EagleEyedFootball did you watch the replay? On the Everton highlights they have the full play, he didn't have the time, Eze was the only option and the point is that Eze should be supporting not looking for the hero option of turning the man for the counter, how many times over four years of Eze does he lose possession in that area of the field? But I figured you wouldn't hold Eze even partly accountable. There's a total agenda against Kamada when that pass is pretty much all he did wrong yesterday.
Yeah went straight to look at the Palace full 90 and go to the goal to look at what you referenced. Not saying Ebs couldn’t do better, just saying Kamada was more in control of the situation and executed wrong. When DK initially receives the ball he has about 5-10 yards of space. He then takes about 3-4 touches before he plays his pass. This changes the picture he initially sees Poor goal to concede all round regardless
@@EagleEyedFootball the ball for sure could be better but a few things... 1. We know Everton are gonna press that situation, Eze cannot be backing away from Kamada when he has a man behind him and men closing on Kamada 2. The premier league has seen Eze play for years now and they know what he wants to do as well as we all do 3. We're talking about a player in Eze with years of experience in the premier league now vs Kamada with a handful of games He has to do better, he has to come towards the ball, not everything is gonna play out how he wants it to happen in his head. With the majority of possession and superior shots on target we have to change things in attack, Kamada should be playing in his natural role, Hughes or Lerma in their natural roles and either Nketiah or Mateta up front. Nketiah coming in with the expectation of minutes has meant Glasner feels the need to shoehorn him in the side at the expense of players in their natural positions. Kamada with his effort at retaining the ball made our goal happen and he did from the kind of position he's used to. This is partly on the manager but our attacking players are way too casual, too relaxed, no urgency at all. And this is what my comment on Eze on the previous video was all about. Tough times ahead lads and I hope we can keep things level headed amongst the fan base because it's getting crazy. We should check our biases around who we decide to condemn and defend.
. . . . . .also I was correct at the start of the season when I sadly stated that I just cannot see where three points are coming from with these awful performances.
The drop off from last season is unbelievable, again not replacing Olise like when Wilf left is bizarre, players in the side that shouldn't be and 1 player in particular who from his performance levels off the bench should clearly be starting matches in Sarr is baffling......letting Anderson go and not taking the £65-70m for Guehi is a monumental mistake......
ggod video mate, but from an everton fan, i can confidently yell you that onana was not the catatlyst of our midfield, dyche dropped him then we won 5 of our last games
