Being a woman and struggling with addiction means facing a double vulnerability and social disadvantage: for approaching illegality and for defying traditionally assigned roles. Gender is not an issue exclusive to women. The only way to create a more equitable and fair social model is with the support of the entire society.
Proyecto Hombre's mission is to work from a humanistic perspective, incorporating a gender perspective to highlight the reality of women and addiction.
