ABOUT PIRATE OF MIAMI BEACH:
Hello, I am the Pirate that metal detects Florida for treasures. Most of my time is spent ocean detecting and beach detecting. I will venture off metal detecting and treasure hunting uncharted territory when I hear the call. I will make metal detecting videos as often as the weather permits. Metal detecting underwater, metal detecting beaches will be 90% of my videos. My metal detecting finds are gold, silver, platinum, diamonds, jewelry and coins.
Here in Florida we have this special beach called South Beach. It is located in Miami Beach, Florida. I would say this is the most popular beach in the world if not for the United States. Since 2010 I have been metal detecting Miami Beach.
My metal detecting machines include my Whites Surfmaster PI metal detector. Then my Minelab Manticore metal detector. The scoop I currently use is a CKG titanium scoop with a carbon fiber shaft.
My future metal detecting videos will start to include tips for beginners. I will start to review some products that I buy. Best metal detector for gold and best metal detector finds. Also I will be cleaning and polishing some of the treasure finds

Thanks Ray! Yeah there is much more trash than what is shown. I don't take trash home. I empty it in the trash bins at the beach. There are groups of people walking around picking up trash after them. Public, not the governmental worker.

Nice beach walk with beautiful scenery. And alot of good finds😊 If I ever make it down that way, It would definitely be Miami Beach. Had a saying for the rest of Miami 25 yrs. ago Will the last American to leave Miami please bring the flag. I am from Orlando, now its getting pretty rough. So I moved to Northeast Tenn. The town I live in reminds me of Orlando before Disney, late 60,s when I was a kid. The only thing I miss is the beaches!! So I take trips down 5 or so times a year. Still am enjoying all your videos, keep up the good work.😊

If its a 1964 or before it was made out out of silver thats why it might have sounded different. The same goes for quarters, 1964 or before its silver. So after 1964 its made from or called clad half copper and half im not sure, but the1964 ones sound more dull. 😊
I don't think I have dug a silver quarter yet. I have huge amounts of coinage dug and need to be cleaned. There could be silver amongst them.

Love your videos, have a couple of questions. Why do you have a GoPro on your scoop? Have you gotten robbed, is that why you look at the finds inside of the scoop?

Thank you Terry! I make some B roll footage with the gopro there. You will see some of it in other videos. I keep the finds in the scoop because there are a lot of people around and they are very nosey. I never keep my finds out long unless it's for the video. In the summertime I am packed like a sardine and everyone is looking.
