Holy crap, I knew one was from Cambodia! @21:52 I thought it sound familiar. Heard it when I was a child. Same with Rude - Eternal Youth from a Jackie Chan movie.

The dialogue at 5:16 takes me back to when I studied abroad in Japan. I miss the trains so much. I could never reach the ceiling handles so I always had to sit down in a seat or hold onto one of the metal poles. Here's probably the most memorable story from when I was on one of the trains: It was our last night in Japan, and we were leaving to go back to America in the morning. A friend and I had gone to see Tokyo Tower, and we were trying to find a train station. It was getting to be time for the last train of the day. Our plane was leaving tomorrow morning. Eventually, we ran into a very nice lady who helped us out (she spoke some English, also, which was nice). Together, the three of us found the train station. When we got there, the doors were about to close. The woman and my friend happened to get on first. As the doors started closing, I was internally screaming because I thought I was going to be stranded there. Then, this woman grabbed my hand and pulled me onto the train. I owe this person a lot. If it weren't for her, I would've been stranded at a train station in Tokyo for...I don't know how long.
same! i studied in kagoshima, which didn't have trains, but had trams. i'd often take the tram after school and just get off at a random station and go exploring. the dialogue brought me back to those moments. hope i can visit again
Because if she didn't pull you, you wouldn't have ran inside? If you were in that much of a rush I assume you were running to the train, what difference did it make if she pulled?
I wish my lives most riveting and memorable struggles were of such a moderate nature. Aha! Sometimes I WISH I were stranded in Tokyo. hahahaaa XD Good story tho. :)
I spent a year studying in Tokyo. I was able to speak Japanese from day one as I had studied on the internet beforehand. For an entire year I lived just like a Japanese university student, surrounded by the friends I had made there. I spoke nothing but Japanese, learning many new things I hadn't known before. This made me feel very at home. We organized the uni festival together and celebrated accordingly afterwards. These friends are very dear to me and it's awesome to see what paths in life they have taken. A good Japanese friend of mine whom I advised on language learning in her first year of university is now part of the Foreign Ministry of Japan making good use of her knowledge about languages. It's really heartwarming. I would take the train inbound to Tokyo Central every other day to either head to my part-time job or hang with my friends. Eating at Sukiya, grabbing that godly iekei-ramen or hitting the karaoke place in Musashisakai, or optionally in Shinjuku if we felt like taking the train ride. People would sleep on my shoulders after my part-time shift at a bar in Kichijoji right before midnight in the last train heading to my station and sometimes I would fall asleep too (sorry!). The keikyu beat in this mix reminds of all of that. The sounds at the stations. My IC-card I would swipe at the gate. Or when I sometimes forgot to recharge it and got the red light and had to apologize and quickly charge my card with a 1000 yen bill. All of that. It's great. Please visit Japan while respecting the people and the country.
I would love to experience something like that. Thank you for sharing your story I can just imagine it was me experiencing this because I would love to know Japanese and go to collage their and have fun with my friends this is a very cute story! And hopefully I get to experience something like this at some point. (Also can I have some tips for learning Japanese?)

isolation isn’t always a bad thing. some of us have too much thoughts that can’t be spoken of. no, I’m not saying we need to be isolated forever, that can cause anxiety and depression, but what I am saying is that being quarantined is a relaxation for the body and mind. I can always find a beautiful lofi mix here that perfectly matches my mood :3
This one calmed me right down. I was feeling the tenseness in my jaw, from grinding my teeth and focusing too hard on my work. Working at a computer for 10-14 hours a day can be tough. Thanks for the good music.
Tomorrow I start my first job as a DoorDash deliverer. I didn't know who else to tell, as I don't have many friends, so I came here.
I'm curious, how'd it go?
Yo. the first half of this Chill Mix is so Japan. What made me LOVE this is @ 5:17 the train announcement. I travel in and out of Japan a lot and you get so used to listing to the train announcement
Ahhhhh *enters a euphoric state*
I gave a like before the music started just based on how nice the background looks 0.o (the music is super dope too tho).
Possibly my favourite thing you've ever uploaded!
I just wish local cafés played these kind of compilations, instead of the same usual pop songs over and over again.
Thanks with this I can dream about Tokyo all the time
I don’t even mind being a tourist and not getting to see what Tokyo is really like, I just want to see the quiet gardens and parks in the day and the bright arcades in the city at night
I sense a hit. Well, time to get this to a million views.
When I'm already enjoying the vibe then an ad interrupts the mood. Now I gotta restart my mood to feelnthe vibe again.
Walking down Neon Tokyo just like Ghost in the Shell or Blade Runner :)
This sound is so calming. Have an amazing day 😘
A dream is a succession of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations that usually occur involuntarily in the mind during certain stages of sleep. The content and purpose of dreams are not fully understood, although they have been a topic of scientific, philosophical and religious interest throughout recorded history.
I listened to this on the train ride from Tokyo to Kyoto a while ago and wow listening back to this brings so many memories
two years later and i don't remember sending this but the music is still good 😎

The Artwork really is amazing! And the music, the music is even better! :D
Your playlists always either increase my productivity 10x, or cause me to drift off and daydream. There is no in between
Reasons to live in Tokyo:
1. Good food.
2. Beautiful sights.
3. No disrespect for being a weeb.
4. Nice people.
5. This lofi track.
...I need one of those long hugs...
...where you just drift off into a heaven...
