I am using this pen now for the last 8-9 month. Still loving it. The glass breaker is one of the best features. Not for breaking glas, but you can put markings on surfaces even the fisher space pen can not. Steel plates, aluminium, rough wood or even glas. Metal workers using a scriber to scratch on the surfaces e.g. where to cut a piece of steele. The carbide tip in this pen can do the same (in my opinion even better)
I have the NTP30 and NTP31. Besides the finish and clip, also the tip is different. On the NTP31 it’s less sharp. Also, I can’t break down the bolt action unit on the NTP31.
@@everymanedc9518 In the meantime i could test it myself. Yes!!! Everything fits perfect. It is possible to change the schneider refill with a fisher space pen refill + plastic adapter. No modifikation on the pen necessary.
@@everymanedc9518 I found some reports, saying that it would not fit. So when the pen came i was expecting some work with a dremel tool. Glad that it wasn´t necessary, maybe nitecore changed the design a little bit. The glasbreaker is also really good, can not be compared with cheaper tactical pens.
A bit short for my liking. Maybe you should reconsider learning to use it as a defensive item. It’s unlikely but one day you may need to. It may be this or nothing.
I have to be honest I think I'd be better spent learning a lot of other defensive mindset strategies before I would be at a point that I would learn to use something like this for self defense.

I can definitely see people using the glass breaker that way.

Thanks for the info! I think I would prefer not having the option vs how easily the ntp30 breaks down.
That is a nice looking pen!!!!
Do you know if a fisher space pen catrigde would fit in???
Greetings from Austria.
It should with the plastic adapter

I bought the NTP31. I like black more than the titanium look anyway.
Good choice

Third option get one from sjv workshop 100% more sexy looking and cheaper and knowing Mr S the build quality will be perfect. Great video though 👌
I've looked at his stuff before and it's gorgeous but I don't think he ships to the USA.
@@everymanedc9518 that is a shame, I'm yet to get one but one is on the "list"
Super.Profesioal.
Thank you!
Too many pieces that'll keep unscrewing.
Absolutely! I may try adding some o-rings to see if that helps.
Nice vid. Consider trimming up your nails.
Thanks for the tip lol
It's a Tactical Thumb Nail. One of the most handy EDC tools you can have.
I broke mine unfortunately, gotta get a new one
