@@Ad-fu6tj the first games finał Version wasn't Bad, it was just... Something that wasn't really worth that much waiting, with a whole delay.
While this wasn't much, it did show a bit more about the game, establishing Quentin may not be on the cops' good side, showcasing more ways of disrupting the neighbor, and 1:21 showed one way the neighbor upgrades his defenses; at first there was only one board on that door, but now there's 3. I like the direction that's going in, as now the neighbor seems to have more defensive strategies rather than just camera/bear trap spam. Great job so far, looking forward to any big news and any ingame footage.

I hope they focus more on the scary and stealth in the game. the first just felt like getting caught by the neighbor was annoying more than terrifying like in the alpha. this is looking really good

I love the new showing of this game so far, Quentin doesn't seem quite seem to be on the cops good side, I love how in this trailer, they're establishing the world of Hello Neighbor and I love the sneak peek of the world building in this game, and I also like how The Neighbor has now improved his tactics in this game, in the first game he just used cameras and traps to defend his house but now it seems that his defense strategies have improved since then, he now tries to board up the door more tightly now and seems to build his defense mechanisms based on what he learned from our previous attempts, great job Tiny Build! Cannot wait to see the full released game!
This looks awesome, this is what the first game should have been. I'm happy that they are learning from their mistakes.

This game really feels like the original idea of the first, OR EVEN BETTER. Btw I love that it seems that in this game there will be no annoying Parkour :)
There will be some Parkour like the first HN because there is items like the spring shoes and the fire extinguisher.

true the mechanic where you hold on to the roof to get up is more better than the box stacking that was difficult at most times

@XxTwichGaming08xX I don’t know how your AI doesn’t get bugged. But the AI was shit. Sometimes the Neighbor would pass you even tho he was right in front of you. Also, the neighbor gets stuck on doors. But it’s just your opinion.

@@ihatelife5464 I never experienced such bugs. The AI worked fine for me. Chases me, places down traps, and even cut me off at some points. Although... I would have liked to see the locking of doors if he sees you go in.

Meet the creepy A.I.-driven Mr. Peterson! This character has one mission: keeping you from discovering his secrets. Hello, and welcome to Hello Neighbor 2! In this game you’ll be playing as a local journalist named Quentin who is suspicious of his creepy neighbor Mr. Peterson. For those new to the Hello Neighbor franchise, this is Raven Brooks! The sort of town where everyone keeps to themselves and goes about their lives. Normally you would too, except a bunch of people have gone missing and there’s just something strange about your neighbor, Mr. Peterson. Everyone is afraid of him. There have been rumors of children going to his house and never being heard from again. Some people say he likes to lock people up in his basement. But no one has any proof. So people just try to avoid Mr. Peterson, his odd house, and ignore the strange sounds coming from his basement at night. You have a feeling that Mr. Peterson is behind all of the neighborhood disappearances, but no one believes in your ideas and theories. And while you normally wouldn’t break into someone’s house, you’re the only one who believes something is wrong and has the guts to uncover the truth. When you break into Mr. Peterson’s house, you’ll be going against an A.I. that is constantly evolving. Our goal for Hello Neighbor 2 is to provide unique player experiences. This is an experience that is driven by the community. Mr. Peterson’s behavior is a combination of a Neural Network and algorithms that allow him to constantly learn from his experiences with everyone who plays our game. It begins with the collection of player activity. Mr. Peterson takes note of player behavior, whether or not most players are likely to hide in a closet, use a certain escape route, or certain objects. As time progresses and he learns, Mr. Peterson’s behavior may change and surprise you. How Mr. Peterson plays in one encounter with you, might be different from the next all due to his encounters with the game’s community as a whole. In this way, the community’s experience with Mr. Peterson changes over time, allowing for an A.I. that is developed through community actions, replayability, and great stories of neighborhood shenanigans. But these new experiences go beyond Mr. Peterson. In Hello Neighbor 2, players can interact with all characters in Raven Brooks. And these characters share the same A.I. core, but behave differently and have their own stories for you to discover. So while you might think you’re just playing the game, you’re really contributing to the development and improvement of Mr. Peterson’s A.I. We hope this presentation of our A.I. in development gives you an idea of what to expect in Hello Neighbor 2! How did you just learn about this? Lol. And it takes place in between act 2 and 3, since 3 is mostly a dream sequence, I wouldn’t say this is a sequel or a prequel. Somewhere in between.

@@CKVanilla Explain the burned down house suddenly turning into a warped structure with illogical physics when everything else in the game has stayed to the confines of reality, or the fact that Nicky literally went to sleep, and the house suddenly appeared. And than after you beat it you see him moving in, and suddenly, burnt house is back to being burnt. But I guess good old mr Peterson was able to move back in, and build that house while you were asleep. Yeah, makes total sense.
@@CKVanilla Oh yeah, and I guess there is really a giant neighbor underground that you beat up, and it’s totally not a dream. Guess the whole thing with the shadow was real too.
@@CKVanilla Ah, so Nicky just fell asleep and suddenly transported to the “astral plane” for lack of better terms, See, sounds ridiculous, right? I see it as Nicky getting over his fears from when mr Peterson locked him in his underground amusement park as a friend for Aaron, obviously such an event would lead to major amounts of trauma. Especially considering the fact that Mr. Peterson had all of nickys friends, Enzo, Maritza, Trinity, Etc turn on him, and effectively framed him in part for the disappearances. Heaping onto the amount of trauma that Nicky would have gained. Losing all his friends, family, and locked in a dark abyss with only one other person who he could call a “friend” That is how I see it, as they have not explicitly stated exactly what was what, Your headcanon, nor mine are confirmed. So going onto a comment and calling someone “wrong” is arrogant.

I mean, the pre-alpha and prototype builds _were_ better than the final product in terms of design/not being filled to the brim with bugs, so it might as well have been a demo :P

Hello Neighbor was the worst game I've ever played, but as someone who hates that game with every fiber of my being, this has potential. I mainly like how this one seems like it'll have an actual story and not just "You were kidnapped, now you're an adult, you had a dream and now you're over it" WHICH WAS LITERALLY THE ENTIRE STORY OF HELLO NEIGHBOR, it looks like it has an interesting atmosphere. And overall, I hope they learn from their mistakes with this game and make something good.

The intro definitely reminded me of the beginning of Reset Day (from the Hello Neighbor books), and that book would also explain why the cops didn’t like him because of the visitor signed in during seismic testing maybe...
Pretty similar. He kind of looks like he is lost when trying to enter town and the cops are giving u death glares
But Reset day takes place years after this section of the game tho
