Wow...the only time I'll be able to do this....Patrick you rule! Keep up the great work I've been following you around from channel to channel and site to site since great bought tech tv when I was in middle school. I wish the revision3 days never ended...thank you for almost 20 years of entertainment and information!!!
I assume the NvME USB drive is going to be cheaper that buying a USB3.1 adapter/case and simply using a NvME drive that you have or purchase one and use it in the adapter. I gave up buying USB flash drives since specs always quote read speeds rather than write which for some well known brands are abysmal on 128GB drives. Instead I simply buy a USB 3 enclosure and a cheap SSD drive an put it in the enclosure. Easyily upgradeable.
There was a tiny clown staining in front of Patrick and slightly to the right while this was being recorded, and Patrick just could NOT take his eyes off of the little guy.

Danny Berry that is what I am nervous about
If I reformat will I lose the vault facility ? Or do I need to copy and paste this back to the drive after formatting ?
Dang I just bought the 2T plastic model.

i have one of the e60 500gb ones and it runs hot
The NVME will probably be double the price of the regular SSD

The replaceable CPU would be way more handy if it was AM4
it is a pretty sweet laptop though.
cables that aren't removeable, when those cables break, you're fucked.
Let my mom use that for a week at its destroyed.
