I keep hearing nothing but great praise for this one-- I must be one of the only fragrance lovers who hasn't tried it. Thanks Barb for reminding me to get onto it. I'm intrigued by the the loyalty and usually signals something very special.
Howdy! Firstly, thank you for this video. Vanilla fragrances can have such wildly different characters and I'm very happy to have someone grab my hand-- that of an entraced, stupefied toddler-- and gently steer me away from intoxicating pea soup fog of the 'big guns' like Absolute Aphrodisiac, Tihota etc. I'm not in the market for a vanilla fragrance right now but I AM in the market for interesting, fun gourmands as wel as more elegant sweet fragrances so thanks Chris for showing me some new options for this summer. Chypres and juvenile 'school yard fun' are my two vacant parking spaces right now. It's almost a photofinish between Shem El Nessim by Grossmith and Aurelien by Carine Roitfeld. I was almost in tears to behold Rogue Perfumery's 'Mousse Illuminee'; the reformulation/new raw ingredient suppliers have taken all my joy because the bottle that arrived a few weeks back is NOT the Mousse Illuminee I adored with a great, evangelical passion. I plunged into a mild depression over it, just knowing that it's probably gone forever. That's a horrible thing to know, whether we're talking about fragrance or anything else of great personal value. I want to write to Manuel and ask him what's going on and implore him to try and return to the original formula but I'm worried about him only hearing a complaint and not the most sincere and enormous of compliments. Le Chypre du Nil by Ciro is my main 'chypre' this spring and summer I think, but I'm after something more vintage and classic too. :) Oh, and lastly, I've been spending time with my Kyse fragrances and look forward to filing my review with you in the coming week, haaha! :D If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have even HEARD of the brand and so far, I'm delighted. Hi BFF☺️👋🏾 no funny bottles? 😂😂 (literally my mom’s question when we were watching your vid - I had to change room!!) love the line up girl! I have a lot of the same fragrances. I love Angelique Noire. Hands down one of my favourite vanilla. Same scent profile as Eau Duelle from Dyptique and I have both. Frank Bocklet’s Vanilla is green and citrusy and great for Spring. Thanks for sharing! You are glowing! Love the silky hair! Stunning! 🥰♥️
Hello!!! 😂 only boring bottles on this one. 😄. I see we share similar taste! I think that Franck Boclet Vanille is incredibly underrated…just love it. And thank you so much! 🙏🏻❤️
On me, thankfully, I mostly get over ripped Jackfruit from Vanille Apricot. I grew up eating Jackfruit, so I know that distinctive, sweet, sticky smell. Instant love and this one lasts on me.
Hey Chris, I enjoyed your video I have got to get my nose on The Gate I've been curious about that brand for 2 years. Cuir Beluga is a must have fragrance. I am going to purchase the big bottle because I know I'm going to go thru that baby bottle the way I over spray.😂
Hey friend! The Gate has a nice discovery set that I haven’t discovered because I’ve been wearing Inside Out! 😂I need to get on that. 🙃Cuir Beluga….❤️sigh
Hi Jessie! If you're going to try out things from The Gate, may I recommend 'Memories'? Think of Tom Ford's 'Tobacco Vanille' but with dark black cherry compote stirred into the mix in place of the heavy vanilla. Delicious. Oh my husband...oh I'm so envious because it has an incredibly addictive sweet cola-cherry Chupa Chup smell and I wish it did that on MY skin! Either way, the cherry isn't that awful almondy-cough syrup maraschino cherry-- it's dark sweet black cherry. If you want a smokier, wispier less dense 'fog' of a fragrance, then swap the cherry for raspberry and you've got 'Aurum' by Kemi Blending magic. That one smells like fruity nightclub dry ice smoke circa 1994. But the price point, oh my word!!! You'd never think it was that expensive...:0 The other hilariously strange gourmand that The Gate do is called 'Precious Moments' and it smells EXACTLY like when you open a bag of sultanas and raisins when baking. Unbelievably strange but great fun if you want to mainline dried fruit with no distracting supporting cast members coming in stage left to steal the show. ;) If you want a deliciously compelling ghost note of toasted coconut with juicy mirabelle plum, something that's a fruitier and happier take on tobacco'n'dried fruit for summer, something juicier and sweeter than, say, Tobacco Vanille or Rouge Saray by Atelier des Ors then I'd HIGHLY recommend 'Rivalite Imperiale' by Plume Impression. Stunning. There's a hint of Baraonda by Nasomatto about it but the mirabelle plum squeezes sweetness all over the place and voila, you're in summer! I hope you'll check this out if you're in the market for psuedo-gourmands, things on 'the edge' of the dessert menu. :)
I took a screenshot of this awesome spring vanilla list🤩😍👌. I have samples of GFG and Angelique Noir which I use very sparingly😍😍. Note Vanille and Hundred Silent Ways are on my wishlist😉😉. I thoroughly enjoyed this video👌👌. Stay gorgeous🥰👌
Hello, beautiful Chris, just saw your unboxing On your Instagram 🖤🦇🦇🦇 Now watching this great spring vanilla Scents, I know for sure I will be wearing EBK Ruby N Vanilla Neroli too this spring and summer ☀️, love it !
Lol!!!! I wonder who that was??? !😂😂I don’t do unboxings. They drive me cookoo. 😂😂😂😂 But thanks for stopping by my friend. 🥰💕and I will be wearing RIVN also! 🙌❤️
So , I had some samples from a lovely SA in a LV boutique, and at first it was just a like, I think the green notes made me have to get used to , wore more like a niche to me in the having to get to know it to love and it's Contre Moi from LV , I had an opportunity to get a fb privately and I almost slept on it bc it was only a like but the discount was incredible !!!! 💲💲💲💃 and when I got the bottle it turned from OK to I want to smell this all the time kind of love 💕💕💕 I think it 's all yr but spring is extra bc of the green notes
@@ThePerfumeNest Get to the LV boutique and smell... possibly being discontinued...? I want to smell it everyday ! ppl across the room aren't likely to smell you but it 's pretty great 😃
What a fabuloussss list! 🤩 so many favorites and several for me to check out! And Chris - I LOVE The Architects Club!!! SUCH a “me” kind of scent 😭😍. Although I recently purchased Eau Duelle EDT so I’ll have to get The Architects Club when I run out one day, shouldn’t be painfully long cause I adore this scent profile. Also, um, yeah. The rest of the EBKs were phenomenal. I will be getting a bottle of Ruby N Vanilla Intense, and although Alexandrite N Patchouli was a bit too strong for me, I’d still rate it a 10/10 and could see myself changing my mind and wanting a bottle one day, so I will be periodically revisiting it ;) So excited (and nervous💰) to receive the discovery set with my order now 😂😂❤️
I KNEW you would love The Architect’s Club! Yay!!! 🙌❤️ And EBK….well they are just “another level” of exquisite. So in a few years when you become a diehard patchouli fan …..dig your sample of Alexandrite back out and swoon. 😂
I love soooo many of these vanillas! I have a partial of Angelique noire and need a full bottle soon. I also need Cuir Beluga. Have you tried Jovoy Fire at Will? Super pretty vanilla with mimosa and a brown sugar touch. Deff not a sweet vanilla imo but it’s gorgeous. I’m obsessed with it this Spring. My man loves it on me too.
YES! Fire at Will is the happy little sister of Indult's realistic dense vanilla, 'Tihota'. A little less expensive too and the projection is marginally better. I totally see why you love it-- when my Tihota runs out I may consider replacing it with Fire at Will.
I love Angelique Noire, but it didn't last on me, so couldn't justify the cost. LOVE Neroli Ruby by EBK. Out of my collection, I enjoy Iris Vanille by Ormonde Jayne. I really want to try the Guerlain you mentioned, I don't own a Guerlain. I have tried maybe 8, but nothing that I had to have. Love that new bottle.
Another great list girl! 🙌🏼 I’ve really been enjoying Nest Golden Nectar for a springtime vanilla! In fact it was one of the fragrances I was most glad that I took when we went south- it worked well in the bit of heat and humidity so I think I could carry this one though to summer, even if only in the evenings 🥰🌸
Oh YES! I'm thrilled that you mentioned it. Such an unsual alternative to Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille on my skin. It's like a dense smoky fog with black cherry compote swirling around on the wind. Delicious. Oh my husband...oh I'm so envious because it has an incredibly addictive sweet cola-cherry Chupa Chup smell and I wish it did that on MY skin! Which way does it go on you Tanya?
Alright, you talked me into Commodity Gold because of how you described it as a mixture of those two perfumes. I didn't want to like Gypsy Water at first because it was popular and to me was sort of like a health food store essential oils type of smell, but WOW it's good in summer, I love the drydown, and I also like juniper, pine, evergreen notes. So, I know I'll like Gold. I also just love Angelique Noir, especially on cooler spring days, because it does best in cool weather on me. I also love love love Cuir Beluga, but it's more of a cooler weather scent to me, and I have put it away already. A lot of people like Spriteuse Double Vanille best, but my faves from that group are Angelique Noir and Cuir Beluga. Anyway, for a floral vanilla I love Xerjoff Dama Bianca in spring.
Hi Christine! Again…we seem to have very very similar taste. It was literally freezing and rainy here yesterday so Angelique is still getting a good wear….but I’ll do the same soon in June.
Hi Chris! I recently sampled Vanille De Tahiti and Oud Orange Intense and wow, love at 1st sniff. I'm obsessed with FDB Orange Intense, have you tried it? Ordered the hair mist cause it's so pricey!!! lol and getting tomorrow my VdT yummm!! Can't wait!! 😍😘💗💗💗
Hi there Caroline! Yes Oud Orange is lovely!!! I got the Discovery set a while ago. But you are right…at that price I didn’t feel it necessary to purchase it. 😂
Beautiful vanillas. I am trying to find M. Micallef Note Vanille in discount online stores. I have and love Pure Extreme and Watch from this house, my favorites.
Finally got to sit down & watch your video Chris and what an amazing line up of fragrances you chose! I haven’t smelled many of them unfortunately but I own two in your list, Gentle Fluidity & Note Vanille … on my wish list to sample are Angelique Noir (better than Cuir Beluga in your opinion?) & Commodity Gold 💛 I always enjoy seeing you, your videos are getting better & better!
Aw. Hi my sweet friend! Oh Angelique Noire and Cuir Beluga??? Lol. So so different. It comes down to preference. But if I had to pick one it would be Cuir Beluga for sure. It’s such a “me” perfume. Having said that…I wore Angelique like three times last week! 😄🥰
Right now, I am in a sort of "empty perfume" period, I don't know what to wear and what I want to wear etc, I almost wear nothing everyday since last week 😭😅 But when I was wearing fragrances for my begining of spring, I loved springy vanillas. And I opted for : - "Wild Vanilla Orchid" by Floral Street, which is a green tropical sweet vanilla (notes have a lot of similarities with Poets of Berlin, that you didn't find sweet enough. You should test this one ! It is much more affordable, and really good and quality !) - "Milk Musk EDT" by Molton Brown of course - And "Butterfly EDT" by Hanae Mori I think. Doesn't have any vanilla but pulls vanilla sweet on me.
Love Angélique noire and Vanille de Tahiti ❤ Couleur vanille by l'Artisan parfumeur and Shalimar cologne are some other two I will grab for Spring/Summer 🥰
According to Frangrantica, 61 of my bottles have a vanilla note in it and yet it’s still a winter or a summer note for me. 😆 Just to name one, I think Mon Guerlain Intense might be one I would consider a spring vanilla… 🙂
Congratulations on your filming marathon!!! I consider it a personal favour, because we all know you film these just for me. :p Thanks for writing the list above - I'm just copied it and pasted it into my wishlist as is. :p You sent me a travel spray of the Gateau de Carnival and it is AMAZING!!! THANK YOU!! I wonder if Hundred Silent Ways will be my gateway white floral that will make me realize that I actually can wear flowers. I hear I need Note Vanille as my gateway Micallef! :p Love when Picky Pat makes an appearance!! I think Cuir Beluga is to you what my Ganymede is to me. :) This video was a dream to me because VANILLA!! Thank you for bringing these into my life. (p.s. I need a second job - know anyone who's hiring?)

Angelique noir sounds so perfect for this time of year Pear and pink pepper 🤩 My foodie one that smells nice in spring is Sweet Pastry in Paris (lemon vanilla cake coming out of the oven ) Vanilla Apricot sounds so up my street !! It seems everywhere I look NOTE VANILLE is jumping out at me saying BUY ME !! BUY ME !!! It sounds so amazing ( is it a bit like angels share ?
OMG. I translated Gateau de Carnavale as cat of the carnival because "gato" in Spanish is cat. 😩😆🤣 How embarrassing. Sounds amazing. I sold my sample or I'd revisit it. But the marshmallow one is finally on its way to me! 🥳🥳🥳
Yes, i would like to watch it. I will leave a subscribe. Heard for examples: vanilla powder, vanilla diorama, reunion vanilla, divine vanille, initio absolute aphrodisiac... till now i did not smell any of these 😅
@@ThePerfumeNest Thanks so much! EBK confirmed today that Ruby N Vanilla Neroli does have musk, so I decided to go with a different choice. I enjoy all your videos and I hope you’re having a nice weekend!
Thank you, Chris! As much as I have been loving my spring fragrances, part of me misses my vanillas. I have been trying out my samples of Architect’s Club and Eau Duelle and couldn’t quite figure out which one to buy a full bottle of. But after trying the layering of each one with gypsy water (to replicate Gold per your suggestion), Architect’s Club is the clear winner! It has some semblance to my favorite green vanilla Virgile by Sylvaine Delacourte (I love the sage opening of Virgile), but is different enough to justify the purchase. Will also need to get my nose on Gold at some point. 😉

Thanks for sharing your video take care ❤️
Aw thanks Pam! 🥰💕
I just ordered a decant of commodity gold .. hope I like it
You will enjoy it. 💕
Beautiful vanillas. I am trying to find M. Micallef Note Vanille in discount online stores. I have and love Pure Extreme and Watch from this house, my favorites.
Oh I haven’t tried Pure Extreme…
@@ThePerfumeNest really wonderful scent
Thank you so much for your lovely words 🌹
@@parfumsm.micallef7665 your scents are fantastic, high quality and creative. I love all your beautiful bottles, work of art.
@@KarolinaPL06 Too kind of you! Thank you so much 🌹
I am one of those people that still love Vanille Abricot!🤭🥰
Yes!!! I was thinking of you when I said that!!! 🥰🥰💕
Ruby and vanilla with that soft velvety smoothness sounds perfect
Hugs 🤗
Back at you Frances! Thanks for popping by!
Right now, I am in a sort of "empty perfume" period, I don't know what to wear and what I want to wear etc, I almost wear nothing everyday since last week 😭😅
But when I was wearing fragrances for my begining of spring, I loved springy vanillas. And I opted for :
- "Wild Vanilla Orchid" by Floral Street, which is a green tropical sweet vanilla (notes have a lot of similarities with Poets of Berlin, that you didn't find sweet enough. You should test this one ! It is much more affordable, and really good and quality !)
- "Milk Musk EDT" by Molton Brown of course
- And "Butterfly EDT" by Hanae Mori I think. Doesn't have any vanilla but pulls vanilla sweet on me.
Oh yes Milk Musk!!!! I love that one!!!! 👏🏻👏🏻💕❤️
And butterfly (HM) I used to wear and love. 💕
Wild Vanilla Orchid sounds lovely! I need to try it. 💕❤️
Love Angélique noire and Vanille de Tahiti ❤ Couleur vanille by l'Artisan parfumeur and Shalimar cologne are some other two I will grab for Spring/Summer 🥰
Oh you know I love Shalimar Cologne but was afraid to show it because it’s discontinued. I cherish mine….
Great Vanilla review Chris! ☺️
Thanks Marci! 💕🥰
Oh my goodness this video made me hungry!! I do love vanilla notes!
I was hungry making it and no joke ate cupcake at like midnight afterwards!!!! 🤦♀️ 😂😂🥰
@@ThePerfumeNest sounds perfect!! I absolutely love cupcakes. 😁
Cuir Beluga is sooo pretty 🤩
Word ……..😂
@@ThePerfumeNest 🥰
was dying for this video!
Oooh. Any favorites???🥰💕
Ohhhh Architects Club sounds nice !! 😍😍
How have you never sniffed that one? We must rectify that! 😂
@@ThePerfumeNest never ! ☺️
@@MelissaJean what????? I just picked myself off the ground!!! Ok. 🥰
According to Frangrantica, 61 of my bottles have a vanilla note in it and yet it’s still a winter or a summer note for me. 😆 Just to name one, I think Mon Guerlain Intense might be one I would consider a spring vanilla… 🙂
61 bottles? Girl you need your own channel! 😂😂I love Mon Guerlain Intense. One of the best signature scents . 💕
My favorites are Shalimar Philtre and Cuir Beluga 💜
Oh Philtre is on my list “to get”
Right now is a good time to buy Philtre from Costco. Less than $69!
@@maribethnewell6743 whattttt?????
I just bought it! Crazy!
I was about to purchase it from Guerlain website but Cosco…..I’m sure it’s the real thing. 🙌👏🏻🥰
Ok you got me with the funnel cake… 🤤🤤🤤
It got me also! 😂
Great choices
Thank you Aida! 💕
Hi...please what's your favorite fragrance in nicolai's brand ???
Sure! RN it’s Eau de Yuzu. 🥰
Good morning Chris 🤩
Morning my dear! 🥰💋😘
Congratulations on your filming marathon!!! I consider it a personal favour, because we all know you film these just for me. :p
Thanks for writing the list above - I'm just copied it and pasted it into my wishlist as is. :p
You sent me a travel spray of the Gateau de Carnival and it is AMAZING!!! THANK YOU!!
I wonder if Hundred Silent Ways will be my gateway white floral that will make me realize that I actually can wear flowers.
I hear I need Note Vanille as my gateway Micallef! :p
Love when Picky Pat makes an appearance!!
I think Cuir Beluga is to you what my Ganymede is to me. :)
This video was a dream to me because VANILLA!! Thank you for bringing these into my life. (p.s. I need a second job - know anyone who's hiring?)
Lol!!! Thanks sweetheart for coming by and saying hello! I was wondering if I sent that one to you! 🥰
And lol!!! We can scrub dishes side by side!!! 😂😂
@@ThePerfumeNest I need six figures, so that's a LOT of dishes. I wonder what the actual [blank] bitcoin is, and if it's too late or I'm too old to figure it out? :p
@@ScentSiblingsDotCA omg!!! We can scrub together!!!! 😂😂
Hahaha 🤍✨
Angelique noir sounds so perfect for this time of year Pear and pink pepper 🤩
My foodie one that smells nice in spring is Sweet Pastry in Paris (lemon vanilla cake coming out of the oven )
Vanilla Apricot sounds so up my street !!
It seems everywhere I look NOTE VANILLE is jumping out at me saying BUY ME !! BUY ME !!! It sounds so amazing ( is it a bit like angels share ?
Lol…..Hm….gods thought …Angels Share is thicker and has more spices and an apple pie thing going on. Absent in Note……😉💕
Hahaha thank you so much 🤍
How do you pack away you off season scents , do you save the boxes
Hi Mary! It’s a pain in the neck to store all those boxes but I do so I can store them and extend longevity.
OMG. I translated Gateau de Carnavale as cat of the carnival because "gato" in Spanish is cat. 😩😆🤣 How embarrassing. Sounds amazing. I sold my sample or I'd revisit it. But the marshmallow one is finally on its way to me! 🥳🥳🥳
Well…..I think those are Julija and Chris fragrances. Maybe not Veronica fragrances. 😂
@@ThePerfumeNest you two should definitely collab on a vanilla video 😉😉😉
Hey, what is the best Vanilla perfum for men? That is also good in performace 😅
Greetings
Gosh that depends on your taste. Looks like I need to do a best of vanilla.
Yes, i would like to watch it. I will leave a subscribe. Heard for examples: vanilla powder, vanilla diorama, reunion vanilla, divine vanille, initio absolute aphrodisiac... till now i did not smell any of these 😅
Would you say vanille de Tahiti is possible to blind buy? Cause there is a animalic note in it... not sure 😅
@@Dr.Balidis nope never a good idea
Hi! Is there musk in the Ruby N Vanilla Neroli?
Hi there! It’s not listed in the notes and it’s certainly not a prominent note IMHO. 😉
@@ThePerfumeNest Thanks so much! EBK confirmed today that Ruby N Vanilla Neroli does have musk, so I decided to go with a different choice. I enjoy all your videos and I hope you’re having a nice weekend!
Hey gorgeous! I love the smell of funnel cake! ❤
Oh so do I ! 😂💕
Poudre dOr and Dama Bianca
Lovely. 🥰
If anyone is interested in trying EBK Ruby N Vanilla, let me know! I bought a decant but it’s not for me.
Sell it on eBay or Mercari. Lots of ppl looking for those.
Hi there!!!! Wow look at you! If you have Gypsy Water and Architects Club you probably don’t need Gold. :) but it is a lovely vanilla. 🥰💕
Well I’m not new🤷♀️😉 But Hi Dear 💕
Do you have a Mercari ? If so I’d like to follow you
Hi Brittany! Thanks! I have a link in my most recent declutter video (in the description box). 💕😉
@@ThePerfumeNest I will have to follow I love that app and live on it looking for new perfumes to add to my collection and I love all your recent coconut fragrances ❤️❤️
@@CommonScents85 why thank you! I realized I left out several so I’ll have more in a “tropical floral” video and maybe “current favs”. 😉💕
@@ThePerfumeNest I am clicking on the link for your Mercari and I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong but it isn’t taking me to your page. I’m still new to that app so not sure if you can search for someone? Or if you have a perfume you’ve listed I can maybe look it up that way?
@@CommonScents85 yes you can do it that way also! Try Milton brown jubilant Pine and Patchouli. Not many ppl selling that one I’m pretty sure. 💕
I was today years old when I learned that you had a RUclips channel! 🤦🏾♀️🤣
Oooh! I love that day then!!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙌🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️😍😍😍😁🤣Welcome my dear!
