i think halfway through watching this drama i'd made up my mind to edit it because everything in it was in its peak and every emotion that the characters expressed needed to be treasured. originally, i wanted to do an edit for the whole drama and not centered on the two main characters but here we are. hope you liked this as much as i did!

This drama is so overlooked but it got all the recognition it deserves at the awards show which is the whole reason why I gave it a go; the first few eps are definitely slow paced but once it gets going it's phenomenal with the acting outstanding from both the male leads. I personally loved Han's character esp his development throughout the show; their relationship was so interesting and carried the whole show
Definitely worth watching, it's not a light drama but it's extremely addictive and you grow to love the people of manyang

@@sabinamaxtul9881 it's on both viki and Netflix - the bromance is really good; bit of a love hate relationship 😂I'm also watching the devil's judge which has a really good bromance if that's what you fancy but it hasn't finished yet xx

The noodle scene mad me cry so hard.
Honestly this video makes it look like the show was a bl lol. But that was how great the chemistry was between the 2 leads. I just finished watching myself and I'm still in awe of beautiful the show was. And all during watching I kept thinking there's no way they didn't have a relationship before lol, even though I knew they didn't. The leads interactions were so vibrant and powerful. The long stares evoked so much, a whole other sphere of communication as you watch them grow to trust each other. This is definitely on my to watch again and again list.
ik im late but is it a sad ending? i just watched the devil judge and im looking for a drama like this but for me the devil judge had a bitter sweet ending bc they part ways at the end so i wanna know if beyond evil is the same
@@livi_starlight2977 Better late than never when it comes to this show! It starts a little on the slow side but it's an effective build up because once it gets going whoiieee there is no stopping it. I did not consider the ending sad, more like it was satisfying.

You can spoil me at least about this because i have been watching too many dramas lately that have left me in tears lmao also i dont mind if its slow sided
@@livi_starlight2977 Well maybe they aren't together as a team anymore, and it's understandable why so you dont feel bad about it; but the familial bonds they formed survives. The leads stayed true to each other. And the ending was quite upbeat and left me grinning for a while after the credits finished. Its almost as if you get happier as the episodes get more dramatic because the friendships solidify more.
Han Joo Won’s story arc was amazing and Lee Dong Sik’s suffering and crazy act is phenomenal. I loved these characters and the actors did an amazing job with them. The rain scene where Joo Won says he will be tormented- Oh mannnn that got me.

The beautiful longing and homoeroticism of their relationship, and their relationship arc from the first episode to the last one, how not to love then 😭😭 This was such a wonderful show. And you did a great job at expressing those emotions through this edit, so great job.

I fell in love with this drama from the first episode, I didn't even feel what people were saying that it is slow. I am so attached to Dongsik and Juwon and their chemistry that I keep going back to rewatch this drama. I can't get enough of them. Perhaps the only way I can move on from this is if I find a drama that's similar to it.

This one line is enough to show who is Dong sik,a fellow who never betrays his people, always thinks about them,their welfare and being very sincere to everyone he interacts. Very complicated,layered , tormented and tough character he is ,yet so lovable, adorable and beautiful soul he is.
This drama definitely needs a second season, it's just way too good 😭😭😭😭❤️❤️

When i started this kdrama i was expecting a really intense mystery (granted the tension of who did what n such was astounding) i ended up falling in love with the relationship between dongshik n joowon
you already know i'll be coming back to this every day until i move on from BE

Lovely video. This was a fascinating relationship, and even though I don't see it as a love affair (even with the "crying in the rain" scene, LOL) Dongsik and Juwon have a clear and deep karmic connection to one another. They bring out the best...and worst, in each other, but ultimately help each other grow. Great series - would love to see it come back!

This drama was amazing, and my personal favorite of the past decade. Dongsik and Juwon were such great characters, and I absolutely LOVED their dynamic.
I would sell my kidney for a drama with just these 2 solving crimes together.
