This stroganoff with noodles being mostly American thing vs how it originally would have been served with potatoes or rice could be an episode idea. Like the Americanised vs traditional versions etc
oh really? okay that’s such an interesting idea, and also it’s interesting to know that it isn’t normally served with noodles. I’ve never had it with noodles before and my family is American but one of my dad’s best recipes is stroganoff and he always serves it over rice, but I just thought maybe he was doing it differently for some reason lol.

They did an instant noodles taste test thing where they ranked them all against each other
Specifically frozen doesn't work super well with most noodle dishes. They covered some of the very few that do, but chicken noodle soup at the end makes a lot more sense canned.
The very first time they mentioned the whole "Chase isn't Moochelle" thing I told my husband they should send in someone huge like Josh in the Moochelle clothing. Today, my dream came true 😂
The Russian place is the only one who actually gave you beef stroganoff. Stroganoff is the beef and sauce, you serve it with something. The Russian place will have been expecting you to order a side of rice or mash to go with it. That would be the traditional thing to have with it in Russia.

Lasagna is one of the few dishes that actually tastes decent from frozen. Stouffers does lasagne and Mac & cheese well

My first thought was ”why are there noodles in stroganoff?” It’s a stew not a pasta sauce
I always made my stroganoff with wide egg noodles, heavy on the mushrooms with peas. Simply because that's the way my mom made it. Oddly enough the first time I saw a beef stroganoff with potatoes it was on the package of a hamburger helper. I would have much preferred stroganoff with potatoes any day. It didn't even cross my mind. I probably could be sent to jail for this but we also used Campbell's cream of mushroom soup in our stroganoff. It's funny the things that families passed down. I'm much and when I was a teenager moms were just going back to work and so it was about finding quick 20 minute meals that they could prepare and then put in the oven when they got home. I think we used cream of mushroom soup for all of our casserole bases. My goodness I got carried away with this comment. LOL

I've never seen or even heard Stroganoff being paired with any sort of pasta to be honest, I grew up with Stroganoff being eaten with rice and not noodles and at least in Europe, that's the normal thing as far as I know

That makes sense but it doesn't seem feasible considering the mess they make & the stabbing that takes place even when they're not blindfolded, lol.
Since the game isn't primarily about trying to guess which one is fancy, and they are just deciding which one they like the best, I am ok with them being able to see, since sight is part of how we experience taste too. If the point of the game was to try and guess which is fancy, then I'd want them to be blindfolded, so maybe if they do a blindfolded episode, they could make that the goal, and dancing with Moochelle is still the prize when they guess right!
I'll believe Moochelle isn't a GMM staff member, when you have the entire GMM staff on camera, WITH Moochelle.

The original Beef Stroganov from Russia is Beef with mustard based sauce and a sour cream.
Noodles were not part of the original recipe, though it might be served with a starch on the side.. Many variations have come up across the world, adding things like rice, noodles, and mushrooms.
A good pad Thai in the UK is like £6.50 these prices are insane and none of them even look like a Pad Thai

AFAIK, in Russia, Stroganoff is typically served with potatoes (mashed/fried, etc.), not noodles. So yeah, I'm still not sure what Robert was going for, lol
You can order beef stroganoff with anything, like mashed potatoes, rice or buckweat, not just noodles.
