As a mechanic this is the most funniest but cringe thing ive watched in a while 😂... I was screaming at my phone do this do that and then laughing when joe got pinced and uncle larry almost got his hand caught trying to adjust the linkage. This reminds me of the i love Lucy episode when they are working on the assembly line and things kept getting worse faster😂😅
You know its kinda crazy to think about ive been watching uncle larry since i was 15 im 25 now and in glad he still daily uploads i probably watch his channel more than jesses or jeffs. Thank you for keeping the channel going

It can be various things, from dirty blades stopping it from going back into position.
The tab on the pawl could be bent, that would cause this well.
or as they gave you a used motor. it could vary well be the motor.
Step 1: would be to check the tab on the pawl to see if it bent. (IF NOT PROCEED TO STEP 2)
Step 2: replace the blades. (IF THIS DOES NOT WOR, PROCEED TO STEP 3)
Step 3: you are gonna have to replace the motor again, as its likely has an issue

LOL thanks guys, but I think I'll just go ahead and let my mechanic replace those for me. He's done 3 of my 4 cars, and the wipers go all the way down when they're off. That was hilarious to watch though!!

Windshield wipers may stop halfway for a number of reasons, including:
Wiper linkage crank arm: The crank arm may need to be fixed
Frozen wipers: The wiper arm gears may be stripped if the wipers were used while frozen
Wiring: Check the wiring to the self-parking circuit from the switch and control box
Seized pivots: The wipers may be slow, which could be the cause
Parking mechanism failure: This is something you can't really test yourself, so you should talk to an auto-electrician
Motor problem: If the wipers stop randomly on any setting, you likely have a problem in the motor itself
Dry rod: The rod inside the wiper head gets dry and the rod just binds
Tightened wiper bolts: Tightening the wiper bolts may result in the windshield wiper missing the middle part of the glass
Here are some steps you can try to fix the issue:
Take apart the cowl and expose the wiper transmission
Disconnect the linkage from the transmission
Move the wipers with your hands to the park position
Reattach the linkage
Lubricate the rod inside the wiper head

Auto Zone always gives you refurbished parts that are used I've been through that before sometimes they work and sometimes not it's another gamble 😂😂 ❤ I'm definitely wore out from laughing thank you so much that was what I needed ❤

This is why it's important to watch videos while you do the job if you don't have a clue on hat you're doing as a mechanic I still do that because I know by doing this prevents problems or if you don't know what youre doing when it comes to fixing cars don't fool with whatever it is you're trying to fix it'll cause more problems in the end

1.) Calliing out standard sockets does no good. It's all metric unless it's a car from the 70's.
2.) The wiper linkage needs to be adjusted. The wipers shouldn't go down then up.
This is good because if anyone has an issue with theirs they know what to do plus watching these types of videos are fun if they aren’t just do this n that from a expert who has done it a million times

Unplug the motor, place the wipers in the starting, neural position, plug the motor back in. Problem solved. I feel like this is the right answer. lol.
The motor only knows how to do one full rotation, which makes the arms controlling the wipers move in their full range of motion. But if the arms are positioned to where the next movement is supposed to go down, that's how it's going to move every time.
What was that in the background in the beginning of the video
