The way I see the cheaper builds is not everyone can afford a $20,000 vehicle. I think Scott does a great job of making a affordable car for people that can only afford x amount on a vehicle. Some may see this as a waste but this will make someone a great car whether this is someones first car or a affordable second car. I wish there was someone like Scott 37 years ago when I was looking for my first car.
Ultimate recycling. The amount of energy it takes from RAW MATERIAL to FINISHED CAR is UNREAL. Scott deserves a GREEN PLANET RECYCLE ♻️ AWARD...😏you are welcome SCOTT.
Do not let your detractors reduce the enthusiasm you display when doing these remarkable restorations! We love to see the work and the terrific results.
It’s amazing how well Scott knows these Grand Ams! He makes this huge rebuild project look like routine maintenance. I have really enjoyed this car rebuild, too.
If anyone can take credit for keeping a certain segment of the automotive world alive it's you and the Grand Am. Well done Sir! I've enjoyed every rescue. And I've started to notice tore up Grand Ams around town... Not bad little cars.
It is just wonderful to see a loving pair like you both shared the same interests in doing Restoration Projects as hobby which turn into a Business entity.......Well done my friend.....Greeting from South East Asia......!
A man who runs out of ratchet straps cannot really call himself a man! I really am enjoying watching you waste your time saving this old Pontiac. Watching you reinstall that rusty junction box bracket onto that freshly painted inner fender well was sooo satisfying! I could hear the clean freaks wailing all the way over here! I do miss the Pontiac brand though, after all they DID build excitement!
Scott, why would anyone object to what you rebuild. I am always impressed with the quality of the work, the wry sense of humor and the pizza girl's rare appearances. Keep up the good work and keep Friday's interesting.
I wouldn't care what the negative people have to say. As long as you can turn a profit fixing these Grand Am's, there is nothing wrong with that. I enjoy watching your videos. Keep up the good work.
I really enjoy your videos. I just bought my wife a new Traverse and the first thing I did was go to your Amazon page and ordered several cans of the cavity wax and sealed up everything I could on the car. I also live in the land of corruption and rust!! Thanks for all the tips and great videos!!
Keep it up Scott. I love your videos and they remind me of when I had to work for a living too --- 57 years worth. Keep paying into my Social Security though --- but we can eliminate the middleman and you can just send me the checks directly. Nice to know your wife can talk --- or that you let her talk this time. You're a quality dude -- keep it up.
Great show as always! I never cease to be amazed at your gift. You truly are gifted. The jack of all gnomes is branching out too. So nice to have the Pizza Close the show. She did a super job. See you when you publish your next installment.
When I was in high school these cars were new and always wanted a Grand Am Gt I ended up with an Se but they were great cars they drive really nice and they are powerful, today I feel like buying one just because I see that you fix them and leave them like nothing happened I think there is still hope, just change all engine gaskets and those things will drive another 100k miles!
Very interesting video. Nice balance of knowledge from Scott, assistance from Gnome, and of course, appearance by Pizza Girl. Looking forward to seeing the finished product.
You should pop down under and have a crack at sorting out one of our woeful Holdens! Great work as always, Scott, and kudos to Pizza Girl for her first speaking role.
I think I need rust OCD pheraphy after seeing that bracket fitted. You can't even see it, but you know it there....! We used to have Lanica cars in the UK but then it rained 🌧 Great project 👍
Great work Scott, you've obviously done loads of these but you sure make it look easy. The quality of your repairs and the attention to detail is what makes your channel such compulsive viewing. Oh and the sarcasm! Have a good weekend, best wishes to you the pizza girl and the painting gnome from the UK 🇬🇧
I respect the N body emporium you have assembled. My emporium was A body Oldsmobiles. Once you tear apart 3 or 4 and pass the "learning curve" it no more trouble than mowing the lawn.
I really enjoy these videos of you working on older model cars, very nostalgic but I do have one complaint this time, I wish you would've painted the bracket that holds the junction/fuse box, the engine bay looks soo nice painted and clean and that rusty bracket looks horrible, other then that, great videos, can't wait for the next one
I know you have a lot of rebuilds under your belt and are a mechanic but do you have a reminder list of all the things you need to do to get the car back together and working? There was so much to do all over the place. This is a great build. thanks Scott. Never boring build fridays.
I bet they ran a bigger wire from the alternator to the starter and removed both before selling the car (common practice with high power stereo, part of the Big 3 upgrade)
HOLY CRAP, that's one heck of a set of guns on that girl. I think they're bigger than yours, Scott! You might wanna be more careful about calling her "pizza girl", LOL!
I really enjoy your channel I’ve been watching for years please keep them coming. I worked at a Pontiac dealership when those cars came out they were easy to work on and sold like hot cakes couldn’t keep them in stock.
Always enjoy your videos. I tend to learn something. This week I learned that I wouldn't want to mess around with the pizza girl. She could kick my butt.
Do you ever have to return parts to Scott's Parts Emporium for warranty replacement? ; ) I still cringe seeing northern IL rust and shouldn't after decades of dealing with it. Enjoying the rebuild as always.
I reckon I am one of the older viewers you have, I think you are quite partial to rebuilding these Grand Ams, you amaze me with the speed ,and, attention to detail you have, I made a comment once on how I'd like to buy one of your offerings, another Viewer replied to me to prepare to pay a premium for one, I said "I am"...
👍👌👏 Very well done again (video and work). Please don't get me wrong but I will never believe, that you only put in 10 hrs of work in this whole repair job. For me that sounds definitely too good to be true. Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and health to all of you.
Yeah Pizza Girl/ Scott's wife! (Very nice! Treat her good! ) Wow... Car looks great! Love it... wish I could own it! Last of the 2 door vehicles.... and a Grand Am V6 to boot! Scott, It looks great!!
Truly this is not a waste of time as the internet says, you've shown me and Ive learned a couple of things!- TAKE THAT INTERNET!,thank you seriously, showing some items on older GM front drive.
It's worth fixing because you can do it quickly. Then it can be a saviour car for winter driving. I have an 03 malibu. Low miles 71,000 had since 14k. But southern car after 1 winter use in Illinois so it's still a good car. Minor interior damage but that's all.
@@geoffgay3637- Same here, I put together a White 2004 Grand Am GT coupe recently. It had rear end damage, & as keeping with the theme, my name is also Scott. My Pontiac Emporium is also filled with different parts. I have parts from Grand Am, G8, & G5 cars respectively. The GA was $500 from Copart, & $300 from Scott's Pontiac Emporium. All in I spent only $800 for the car, with only 108K miles. The weird thing is I had to get tires, & they cost almost as much as the whole car cost all in. This car keeps the miles off of my 2008 G8.👍 Hello from Phoenix Arizona❗🔥

The Pizza Girl spoke! What’s next, the Painting Gnome speaking a few words? Nice rebuild. Seems smart to me to pick up a car that you already have used parts for.
