IDRA Dover NASCAR 3rd Place Win

It's 11:30pm thur night the race starts Friday at 8am and I don't have a team to fly for. At the point I have given up hope for being able to race at the IDRA 2017 Dover Race. But at around 11:30 I get a facebook message from IRA from concrete quads asking me to fly for them and be their 4th pilot. I say yes and go book an Amtrack train for the first train out of NJ to Dover. Its a 6:20am train getting me there at 8:24am. I don't see how things will work but I go anyway. Turns out IDRA was running behind time haha but I made pilot briefing and everything. I was there not to win money or come home with prizes but I was there to have fun. I had fun making it through qualifiers semis and finals and tieing for 2nd and getting 3rd.
