The Lab LDN is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly live stream, powered by Void Acoustics, where we showcase the finest DJs direct from our world famous office party and this week we've lined up one of our best double bills to date. Following on from Matthias Tanzmann this week from 5.30pm BST we welcome a techno great in the form of Joseph Capriati.
Recognised as one of the principal profiles in the genre, Joseph Capriati has established a reputation as an essential figure in the sound. Having been a key artist for Adam Beyer's Drumcode label since his first release back in 2009 the last 6 years has seen him rightfully rise to the pinnacle of the scene.
Rolling sets art his residency at Marco Carola's 'Music On' coupled with regular shows at spots such as Berghain, DC:10 and Fabric have helped him in becoming a global ambassador for the new techno cohort.
He joins us this week ahead of his performance at Time Warp US. The US leg of what is simply the greatest show in all of techno takes place in Bedford Armoury, Brooklyn from November 20 - November 21 and packs a line-up including: Sven Väth, Ricardo Villalobos, Jamie Jones, Luciano, Seth Troxler, Apollonia, Black Coffee, Joseph Capriati ands loads more. +senorchaos You have a point. IWe need to endeavour to get the tracklists from the artists that play. Often these guys are an such a whirlwind schedule that they don't have time to do one for us. Luckily folks like Zdechły Glut help out :)

(sono lo stesso di prima) vedila cosi, capriati è stra criticato ultimamente, gli facciamo fare un bel set coi vinili cosi tutti son contenti e torniamo a dire che è bravo. se poi guardi il set ti accorgi che oltre a essere stra fake nei movimenti coi vinili (solo mills e poi altri mettono in sync cosi velocemente perchè conoscono solco per solco il vinile che suonano ) dal cdj non cambia mai traccia con la rotellina sopra... set gia fatto in play col cdj? a cui ogni tanto butta su il vinile sinistro o neanche quello? sul serio, non riesco a capire, non è per niente naturale nei movimenti da un colpetto al piatto qui e la quando quello dovrebbe essere il piatto che sta suonando ahaha
