me 90s I 100% agree. Being an SU alum and Doll fan, I can honestly say there is something that I like/love about each and every one of these squads! And that’s ok!
me 90s yes it’s so easy being bias towards team but this video makes us remember these are still college students and young adults that’s are doing great while dancing and in classes
i tried and i agree with you..i think all these ladies and teams are very good..but the ggs just was over the top disrespectful..if you look at the other teams..they kinda stayed away from the ggs...

The part about criticism is so true. I don't even look at the comments anymore because they are so bitter and mean-spirited. Mel, I remember watching a video and people were talking bad about you, I didn't know who you were at the time but I began to watch you because of those comments. They were untrue and you became one of my favorite dolls. I mean elegance, style, technique, beauty... and they had the nerve to talk about you. I bet they couldn't hold their own leg up for longer than 15 seconds lol

Melody if u see this I want you to know that seeing this video brought tears to my eyes BC being an hbcu style dancer is one of my goals and I don't have much support behind me and I thank y'all so much and for the impact y'all have created. I would absolutely love to meet y'all , hopefully at dance affair. And it would be great if you did a panel session on your channel discussing questios you all get about the hbcu dance life. These questions could come from RUclips comment section Instagram Facebook, etc. Thanks for all you do!
I love all of y’all personalities 😭 it’s so good to see y’all outside of the HBCU dance world and actually bonding with each other and getting to see how y’all actually are.
The 1st year of joining a group is always great because you’re joining that which you’ve admired from afar & hoped to become a part of. After that, you’re dealing with peers who you haven’t looked up to & lose the ability to be bright eyed & in awe of anything - things are up close instead of distant (dreams). By the time you’re 30 or 40, the whole experience will seem great. You’ll realize that all of your peers where young people (kids really) doing their best.

As an Alumni of Alcorn, it is so great to see all of these young ladies share in fellowship while the spectators try to pit them against each other. They seem to respect each others differences, why can't everyone else? IJS
