Friday Night Funkin' is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47. Programmed by ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack produced by Kawai Sprite and artwork created by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r, the game can be played on Newgrounds or played/downloaded for free on Itch.io.
The plot of the game centers around Boyfriend trying to hook up with Girlfriend, but her ex-rockstar father Daddy Dearest doesn't approve of him. It's up to Boyfriend to rap battle his way through him and anyone else that stands in his way so that he can finally get freaky! Think you got what it takes?
Friday Night Funkin' is an ongoing project that will continue to receive updates, bug fixes and new content. A full version of the game is currently in development, having been successfully funded via a Kickstarter campaign. Check the changelog here for information on the latest updates. he did not beat it. during the finale part where legion is refered as god (in the game files) he activated bot play therefor he did not beat it.
Another thing to note is that this Troll was a father.
He invited a friend to come over until that 'friend' convinced his daughter that he was a monster.
She distanced herself from her loving father until he reached his breaking point. Becoming an actual monster.

I like how his covers went from a friendly rap battle with Cassette Girl, to becoming depressed.
This is a really good cover, it seems like it has a good story to it.
My theory is the ghost notes that are in the song, and all the vocals in the back are Sticky hallucinating because he's going insane, and he doesn't know what he's singing.
The whole song itself always has that feeling.
Maybe in the end, he can't handle being stuck, so he gives up, and he feels sorry, but he really died/went insane from somebody else killing him but on his own terms.
Thats just a theory. A game theory.

This cover was really well made. Everything from artwork, to visuals, to the cover itself was incredible. I also really like the twist the cover had near the end part. Sticky uses botplay or some other thing and while he may be winning, he is losing mentally. Eventually at the end, even though he’s won, he’s lost. He’s truly lost against them. Sticky starts losing strength and eventually becomes one of them.This was amazing and I would like to see more covers that have some sort of twist on the story of the song/mod.
Jesus Christ that was intense. I didn’t even know that the song could end. Who was that guy with the four leafed clover at the end and bringing sticky down? What did sticky mean by he couldn’t do it? Did he mean beating the song? Could he not save someone? Or is it something else? Either way, you and whoever helped did great on this cover. Hope you all do more work in the cuter. The song does have an ending but that last part drains your health until it hits zero, ensuring you lose regardless.

Most of the song was played by Sticky (IRL) but after 4:03 the rest of the song is completed with botplay due to how hard the rest of the song is; as after this point there is no health regen. This is likely what he means when he says he couldn't do it (he couldn't legitimately beat the song). He could also potentially consider the universe where he won with botplay to be fake/ a dream that he wishes was real but in actuality he lost. idk maybe I'm reading too much into it but that's my take.

So I don't know why Sticky is missing his eyepatch here but I like to think he took it off when he first confronted Legion to let him know that he meant business.

While i would’ve loved to be the one to make the cover, it’s probably for the best that it was made by the original composer. The best I could’ve done is make mine sound exactly the same as this, which wouldn’t be entirely possible for me to do anyway since I wouldn’t have the project file to work with
