Lions are animals that live in groups. Usually consists of one male & many females. This group protects its territory. A lion's lifespan is between 10 and 15 years in the wild, but in captivity it can be more than 20 years. The younger lion will usurp leadership from the older lion. Most younger lions will eat the cubs of the previous leader.
