This album felt like a softer sound to echo but it has alot of experimentation
Echo had some really meh songs but all songs from Tether I think they are bangerz
I'll have to disagree their Echo was definitely the superior album this one felt to safe imo
the album has an extremely ambient atmosphere and i think it totally works
This album is very poor. Their worst so far imo.

I really dig this album. It has a weird twist of older and new experimental stuff.
Echo feels like the heavier vocal based and this feels more about an uplifting sort of ethereal feeling
amazing album. I want to listen to it again and again. The songs are easy to remember and after 2-3 times you are already singing along. I liked that it doesn’t have classic metalcore, but rather has the dark vibe of bands of 90s
bogdan, your analysis about this album was perfect, i feel the same way. it seems like a exploration of the sound we find in fighting gravity.
The album didn’t grab me on first listen and didn’t meet my expectations, but I was half asleep when listening. But I’m in love with it now after 3 or 4 listens
I love this album. I may even rate this higher than Echo. They didn’t need another stupid heavy album (I love stupid heavy don’t get me wrong) and the softer more exploration take in their sound this time around had me like WOW throughout this entire album i fucking love this album!!!!
Echo
I love how mello the vocals on this record are, that alone gives this record its own identity in their catalog. Another solid basic metalcore record for causal listening 🌟
Indigo is easily my favorite.
Been having mainly Enraptured on repeat, then it was Integration, and I can see myself having Into the sun on repeat all month long.
The Flood remains as one of my top favorite albums to this day, the sheer heaviness and emotion put into each song is just breathtaking. As for this album, Eternal Pessimist and Enraptured were pleasant surprises. Into The Sun is my favorite non single, and Indigo is probably my favorite of the singles after listening how it fits in the album overall.
It's not better than Echo, but I've seen many bands fuck up this sound so hard that It's very cool to see someone get It right.
I've always been listening on and off to mice and men even long before i started actively listening to metal, but i gotta say what really got me invested in them again was levee and pulling teeth. Has a special place in my mind for some reason, just love the slow rainy build up start going right into the agression on levee.
Been listening to Indigo on repeat. Into The Sun close 2nd. Love it overall

I honestly wasn’t hype for the album but after listening they brought the heat. Definitely one of my favorites for this year.
This album was amazing, nothing crazy sound wise yet still delivers so well. Love the experimental aspects and nuances they incorporated.
I will be honest I wasn't really sure what to expect with this album but man have I grown to love this album. The whole album is this fantastic introspective and supportive theme. Just a great all around album and love the lyrics and sonics.
I completely agree with everything you said. Into The Sun, Tether and Zephyros I thought were particularly good.
Also is it just me or does the ambience sometimes sound like Invent Animate almost
My favorite albums were the two firsts albums when Shayley was still in the band.
But not gonna lie this new album is the best work they’ve put out since then. Amazing, absolutely amazing 🔥❤️

Honestly I LOVED this album. It was different then the last couple of albums. And it gives me restoring force vibes and that is my favorite album from there. Aaron’s voice sounds soo good. Love the melodic nature of the music!

it's probably echo. I love echo a lot, Tether is too fresh for me to know if I love it more than echo but I like both of these albums a lot.
edit: ik I made the comment like a day ago lol but I actually already love this album so much, like you said it has a contrast with the chill vocals and heavy instrumentals and tbh I love that so much, I love the chill atmosphere it's so good.
edit 2. Welp this is now my favorite album, I love all the songs so much, they feel so chill and/or emotional. love the whole atmosphere of this album. I also like the balance, echo was very heavy but it still had a balance of screams and cleans, this album leans into the cleans more and still love it. very beautiful album. tether, Zephyros and indigo are especially my favorite but everything else is good as well.
alot of people overlooked this album and hated it but i loved it so much, Cold World
I really enjoy their change into those heavy vibe rythms. Nothing shiney but instead a well written constant atmosphere

Indigo the chorus is amazing and so are the vocal variance.. the heaviness of Eternal Pessimist and Enraptured.. then my favourite “Into the Sun” …
No, it’s not my favourite of theirs.. but I still love most of the songs and have been listening to them on repeat!!
OfM&M are really good at keeping their core sound while not making the same record twice.

To me this album feels like the proper follow up to Defy if you think of the new albums in pairs

I’d have to go with The Flood. It was the first om&m album I listened to and I never get tired of listening to it 🤘
I would say Restoring Force since that got me into metalcore
But on this album I really love the contrast and Aaron’s voice is incredible for the feels on this. I really like this album for what it is even tho people hate OM&M now
There’s something about this album that gives me that mid to late 2010’s metalcore nostalgia. Honestly surprised how much I like it
The Flood introduced me to the band, and was always my fav, but I recently rediscovered Echo and now I don't really have an answer. The third album, must be a really close contender for #1 too, Restoring Force. I feel as if this album is a straight continuation to Echo, a really good albumz gotta listen to it more.
My favorite album by them I think is Defy.. I listen to Forever YDG'n and Vertigo so much, absolute staples in their arsenal.
Echo and this record are like Holy hell and For Those that wish to exist.
So after about a billion listens of this album front to back, I can confidently say it's my favorite album Of Mice and Men have done and possibly my AOTY. It's not crazy or different but it doesn't need to be. It sounds unique enough for it to be an OM&M album and enough to sound different for them and it works so well.
My favourite album from OM&M is Restoring Forces (especially deluxe edition) and the flood easily
After this highlight video, I may go check out this album even though I didn't plan. The singles were rather uninspiring for me. But I can see how it's an 8 👌
I cant wait to see them with Bullet for My Valentine on Friday! My favorite from them would definitely go to The Flood or Defy
My all time favorite is the flood and can’t be topped but for Aaron’s Era I’d say Echo but to me all their albums are amazing especially Cold World, it’s definitely a black sheep but super solid and experimental
Honestly my reaction is mixed with this one; I *really* don’t like Indigo or Integration, but I love how most of the album feels like a continuation of Echo. Especially with Eternal Pessimist sounding like Obsolete 2.0 and Into The Sun being the younger brother of Fighting Gravity mixed with some of their older stuff ❤
Sadly, this is the first album of OM&M where I don't like anything that much (aside from Warpaint and Castaway, mostly). Thought I was maybe crazy, but the majority seems to echo (no pun intended) that. I'm happy if Aaron is just experimenting right now, though and from what I know, the lyrics are really deep on this one again also, despite it not seeming like that on first glance.
In any case, my absolute favorite album from them is probably Echo, closely followed or tied with Restoring Force (Deluxe)
Very good album. With Aaron leadering, is the best album. My favorite still remais Restoring Force.

Actually really enjoyed this album even though it's much the same! I also feel like the album artwork is too similar to echo visually (which feels like it has connotations of being b-sides).
I agree with your take. It's not as good as Echo but I do appreciate that they're exploring and trying something different instead. Not AOTY quality but there are definitely some tracks going in my playlist.

For me, OM&M never miss. I'd say Restoring Force: Full Circle is probably my favorite, but there is no bad album for me. One of my favorite bands! 🤘
In my opinion if you look up average in the dictionary you’d see this album cover. I don’t hate it, but apart from a few songs it felt very meh. 7.5/10 for me. My favorite album from them is either Restoring Force or the Flood, can’t really pick between those two.

They've never made a bad album. But this I have to say ranks last for me. I feel like the guitar and especially drums try REALLY hard to fill the void that each song has. But I do enjoy the overall theme of the album and it's very consistent. Into the Sun and Indigo are the highlights

I'd say it's the worst album they've done since Aaron took over, doesn't mean it's bad they're just capable of so much more.
Felt okay to me. Doesn't really offend, but doesn't really bring anything special. I personally somwhat enjoyed Warpaint and Castaway.
Update** - did not love the second half of the album and will pass overall from repeat listens.
Eternal Pessimist is my fav song from the first half. Still need to listen to the last few.

Restoring Force for me! I know it was a departure but I thought it was a great record. This band has admittedly lost my interest every album, but at least they’re still going for it, good for them.
The flood....hands down not even fucking close......this album took a few spins to sound great ......was disappointing at first....now i love it

My biggest problem with OMM is that a lot their stuff sounds the same now. You heard one song you heard quite a few of them
I felt this album was very boring compared to everything else. I appreciate what they tried to do but every song feels the same. And none had a special moment. Imo

Personally this album didn't do it for me. At the very least compared to Echo which is pretty much a no-skip album, this one feels a bit underwhelming. Not bad by any means but it's just not connecting with me. Also, the mix on this album sounds a little odd to me. Props to Aaron doing all the production and mixing on this album and on Echo, but even compared to Echo this album's production feels a bit lacking.
The album is decent. My least favorite.
