The more interviews I’ve watched relating to Brandi and her memoir Broken Horses, the more I am fascinated by her passion for knowledge. She is well read and I’m now convinced that is one of the reasons her songs are extremely intimate and able to allow the listener to transcend the lyrics to their own life.
Brandi, You just keep getting better and better. Loved that you read the Bible because you were afraid of it. You are wise beyond your years. Something a classroom could never teach. Love that you don’t blame the public school system for you not being able to learn in that system. Love that you forgive and move on.
