Hi steve ,my family is from southern Ireland but my mum lives in Northern Ireland, we have national trust cards so we do so many things and including parking it works out so cheap .we went to Ireland twice this year ,for a week in may and for a week in August. We went to the Giant's causeway and Carrick de read rope bridge. All of Ireland is absolutely stunning. I'm currently laying in my bespoke queen size bed in my van haven built swamper in Builthwells in mid Wales. We have been away for 4 nights and those swamper wheels and tyres have come in extremely handy as has my bilsten b6 comfort suspension with eibach 35mm lift kit springs and shocks, haven't need my bravo snorkel this week but I'm heading up to glencoe in the 2nd weekend of January so it may earn it's money up there .my new interior is 95 % finished now .we have used it for a couple of trips just for shake down purposes, so we now have a couple of modifications that need doing that will only improve it even more . Hope to catch up with you soon mate ,can't wait to see what wheels and tyres you go for .have a fantastic new year steve best wishes shane 🤟😀

Happy New Year Steve. Does feel like the time we plan to buy our first camper, Q4 2025, will be great in terms of options!

      Thank you, Happy new year.
Nice you can be open about it 😜 Of course, I’m only joking. I spend half my time defending the negative comments regarding them 😂
      Happy new year 👍🏼

Cymru Campers are great. They converted my brand new Citroen Relay L3 into a beautiful camper. Can highly recommend their workmanship and they are a lovely family business 👍. I went for a fixed bed with large u shaped lounge in front, plus a small kitchen unit.

Nice and informative video again! Thanks! Regrettably VW is losing its grip on the campervan market. They have handed it over to Ford as a, unforeseen consequence of the deal VW made with Ford. VW is now attempting to let us believe that the new, multivan based California, is bigger than the current T6.1 based California. I am very curious about your findings when you have been able to test one of the multivan based California’s. The ID.Buzz is nice but even smaller and much heavier than the current multivan. The new Ford Transit/Transporter is much bigger than the multivan and ID.Buzz, and probably cheaper also. Regarding the ID.Buzz’s weight, that will become a problem for people with only a regular car drivers license. Let’s see what next year will bring us. Best wishes and I am looking forward to your videos in 2025!

Thank you. It will certainly be interesting to see what happens with the Ford/VW.
I think people will still go for the VW especially with the 5 year servicing, warranty and breakdown.
      Happy new year

Off you pop and buy a Ford. Just be sure to keep £5k down the back of the sofa for when the ecoBOOM engine shits itself due to the rubber timing belt being bathed in oil. This is proven to degrade the timing belt, but don’t worry, Ford will tell you it’s a ‘Characteristic of the engine’ or ‘within specification.’

@@commuterbranchline8132 Or possibly the revision made means it won’t happen, like it doesn’t on the wet belt that has been in the VW Transporter oil pump for year.
Additionally with it being backed by 5 years warranty servicing and breakdown, it’s actually something to consider.

Regular oil changes with the right oil, regular servicing that includes an inspection to look for wet belt breakdown........you will be ok, where it goes wrong is amongst trades that run Transits into the ground without proper maintenance
