I've heard too many people say Mobius doesn't remember Loki because he went to a different timeline. It's definitely not true. The TVA does lay within a timeline. So it couldn't be another timeline. Proof is the fact that the TVA works the entire multiverse. There aren't multiple Multiverses. So no, loki going to another timeline doesn't work, even in the realms of MCU fantasy. Basically, the only way this works is if everyone was essentially factory reset. Memories changed, and the new master of the TVA decided not to go with the lie. But because Loki is not only out of time but also at the end of time, it could explain why there were already changes once he was sent back.
