Greg, I just wanted to say how much I appreciate this content. Love the conversation that follows your performance as well. Your explanation of the process of learning, transcribing, and seeing what the original players did was flawless. Thank you so much. 🙏
Hi Dylan. Thank you very much for your comment. I really appreciate it...thank you :)
Really fun to see it transcribed and played so great. A job well done.......👍
Hi Leland...wow! I'm kind of gushing right now :) I have to thank you twice (is "thank you" even strong enough?). Once for taking the time to leave this comment , and a second time for coming up with such a wonderful line for the song. It was a real pleasure to study and practice your part. I have a better understanding of the instrument from doing so...thank you :)
Since we're here :)...what are you thoughts on using open strings?
Greg, I cant say enough for what you do for the Bass community. Every single video is just over the top. I wish we were friends so I could come to your house all day and just learn by watching. YOU are my main inspiration. Flea and Geddy have noting on you my friend! Just amazing...Thank you!
To have someone tell you that you inspire them is about the biggest compliment you can get. Thank you very much. I will try to keep doing what I'm doing and I wish you all the best in your musical progress...thank you! :)

Greg Fairweather thank you man!! I will gladly buy a cup of coffee!! Let me know how. Greetings form El Paso Tx.
I'm always a little surprised at how funky the baseline gets in an otherwise pretty light and bouncy pop song, but it just works.
That's a nice way to describe it. It's funny too because it's just subtle little things he puts in to give it that funky feel. Leland's a pro ;)
I absolutely love James Taylor, and you add a great sound to it. I love how the bass sounds more present. Hey Greg, would you consider "Dance with Me" by Orleans? Another bass driven song in my opinion.
hey Sarge! Nice to hear from you :) Yup...that's a good one. Adding to the list...thanks!
