This reminds me of me and my downstairs neighbor, our walls were literally paper thin, he would sing in the shower and so would I, we would occasionally sing with each other like a duet.
It’s amazing what the acoustic’s can do for your voice, it’s why some concert halls are oddly shaped, it makes your voice bounce and come back, to reverberate.
Having water nearby would also help keep the vocal chords in good condition, mainly because belting causes many to lose their voices from how powerful they belt. Also, try practicing verses, and sounds before truly singer, and experiment with tones and accents. I am a rock vocalist and drummer so these are strats that have helped me
