Nice to listen to these old classics and laugh again even though I was only 10 when the series started. Our parents like many others only had the radio for news and entertainment and Sunday lunch times were fun even though some of the humour was over my head. My kids don't know why I laugh as English is not their native language but maybe they will in years to come.
Nice to know Troutbridge is known around the world! Interestingly that was Ronnie Barker talking to himself at the end of the episode "I say haven't you got a funny voice"!
