I could hear the Kobe stories from fellow players all day. I'd be crying but I'd manage. I fell off of basketball when Kobe retired because all the guys I idolized or despised had retired. Really brings back memories seeing these guys again and hearing their treasured memories.

Shane Battier was such an underrated defender. I HATED that hand in the face technique, but I LOVED it so much that I started using it as a defender. I was an excellent on ball defender and rim protector in high school and in college. However, I had always instinctively went for the block. Watching Battier changed my approach on defense and made me a better defender.
