    Kit looks good, I'm still to fit mine so was good to see this for some hints for the install.

    Thank you, I used a different video for my install, and a couple of things bothered me, watching yours I saw my glaringly obvious mistake, and corrected it before I had taken it out, so potentially saving my butt. Thank you again.

    Thank you so much for the outstanding tutorial/video. The instructions from Corally do not help at all if you have no experience in the field. Without their video I would never have managed the conversion. Very high praise. Especially the important tips on the right screws were very helpful.

    so pay attention to the directions he tells u to put nuts screw ECT. overall the brace is amazing and if you plan on bashing like Kevin Talbot or taking ur car to the skate park I absolutely recommend this as the stock chassis braces are weak. also prepare to pause this alot it's a 30 min video and wo mistakes it takes about an hr to an hr and a half to install this kit. my two issues where my power button bracket wouldn't work the way it was supposed to and I would have loved to relocate it and team corally needs to do a better job with prefab I spent 70$ for this brace kit and I had to drill a bunch of holes that they didn't do a good job pre drilling quality control needs to be better for this price point especially. but the video was amazing waited about 4 months for a good video to install my kit because corallys instructions for installation are a joke! thanks bud u did excellent showing how to do it

    Thanks this was very very helpful, the only thing I wish they made a little better fit for the servo shock it feels kind of loose , would like to see less play as that servo and the servo shock require a lot of movement. Thanks for helping me out mine together. good job buddy can't wait for my first run 🙏😎☮️✝️

    Those 2 screws you didn't drill the recommended holes for at 9:50 appear to give more support to the front T2T mounting block. Otherwise it just has the two screws from underneath holding it.

    • @AussieRCPlayground
      @AussieRCPlayground  2 года назад +1

      You are correct, but it also has the support of the little brace on top. That said, after closer inspection, I have now drilled out those 2 additional holes and installed the screws. Cheers for the tip. 🙂👍

    I found this video AFTER I had installed the Xtreme chassis brace into my three-week-old Muraco. I found out that I missed the two screws that go from the bottom of the steering deck into the front brace mount, and I was able to quickly remedy the missing screw situation.
    Like you, I found Corally didn't always recommend the correct size fasteners: some were too short, and others were too long. Fortunately, I have a large collection of fasteners I have accumulated over time that I could draw from to get the correct lengths when needed.

    Interesting setup. It's a little disappointing to see how they change the upper arm inner hinge pins. It seems like the previous design was actually better to me. Before it was solid pins going into aluminum braces in the front and rear and now it's the threaded pins which in my experiencing have a tendency to unthread. They are also going into plastic only in the rear. I'm not saying it's better or worse it just seems like a step backwards to me.

    Hope your move went well Vaz, happy holidays! This is not just a T2T brace, it looks like a v2.5 revision! I love it, going to look for one as soon as I finish watching it. I love my corrally Kronos, it’s such a great driving rc, i just bought the 7075 upgraded chassis, I’ll wait for this kit to come in and install them both together. I still pick my kraton v5 and exb for the roughest bashes, but for any terrain that can take advantage of the radical power to weight advantage of the corrally Koran 825 motor and esc, I prefer this rig. I like that we finally get the metal top plate also in this upgrade. Any idea how much and if it’s in stock and released yet?

    Great guide, Happy Christmas dude!
    I've got a Max8 system in my Kronos, is it worth me putting the cap pack on that i got with it, running on 4S? I'm not entirely sure what it's for to be honest?!

    • @steedrc7125
      @steedrc7125 2 года назад

      I added it to mine and found that it doesn’t heat up as fast and delivers power better as I keeps the system up to charge with the extra caps.

    what do you think about the fact that if you fit this on the XTR you actually remove some of the stronger parts?

    • @AussieRCPlayground
      @AussieRCPlayground  2 года назад +1

      I'm not sure the XTR really need this, however, I just saw pics on Facebook that apparently there is a new version coming out already and it comes with this brace?! Not sure if this is the case as a lot of stuff that pops up on Facebook can be misleading, but if it's true, then I guess Team Corally found a way to have it without comprise. 🤷🏼‍♂️

    Detailed review. I was going to buy a Team Corally, but with the prices of electric and nitro lately. I can actually buy a 1/5 scale gasser cheaper. No brainer - Don't need to buy batteries or a charger (if your just getting into the hobby). All you need is gas and some oil. And 1/5 scale is easier to work on. Run time is 4 to 5 times longer. Now is the time to go gas. You ever run 1/5 scale gas ?? I just broke a motor in today on the baja.

    • @AussieRCPlayground
      @AussieRCPlayground  2 года назад +5

      Don't know where you find a 1/5 scale for less than electric and that doesn't require batteries. 😉
      The only petrol cars here start at about $2-2.5k for the 5ive-T. HPI don't do the Baja cars anymore and I sure as hell ain't getting none of that cloned stuff, so electric for me all the way. Plus, with the noise they make and their large size, it will limit when and where I can run them. Although I wouldn't mind getting one some day, it's not something that aspire to get right now.
      And yes, you still batteries and a charger for the big gassers. 😉

    • @huckaberryfpv4986
      @huckaberryfpv4986 2 года назад

      Yeah gassers still need batteries and your limited where you can run em,and if course their is the headache of maintenance,but to each their own👍

  • @nemesis8664
    @nemesis8664 2 года назад

    And this is what you are forced to do when an RC car is poorly designed and its thin chassis flexes excessively. They should be reinforced from the factory. But then, they wouldn't sell spare/"upgrade" parts and they don't like that. At this rate most modern companies are going to adopt the Traxxas model, in which everything revolves around the spare parts, not their RC cars. Shameful.
