Hate-love relationship, more like been attracted to what can kill them. Van Helsing was in love to the idea of beat Dracula and the same for the last one (or at last in their final moments)
Aaizah Basit But the Lucy thing was totally ridiculous, the actress was not good in general and I was not convinced she was the best bride. I think Agatha was far better than her.
Sometimes I cheat and fast forward to the final scene/s. The acting, oh my goodness, the music and the unexplainable chemistry between Dracula and Agatha, grips me every time, it really is beautiful.
That last five minutes of the final episode was like poetry for my eye balls. I remember just replaying it multiple times for days, because of how captivating this entire scene was. I couldn’t imagine trying to express what they captured on film by putting it into pages of a book. Absolutely stunning!! Also, this song was just the icing on the cinematography cake, which is why I had to add it to my playlist. This is ART! Edit: This is the song I’m using to walk down the aisle if I ever get married 🥲
Dunno why amongst finding a lot of comments about the third episode being the unfavorable one from all the episodes, I find the third one my favorite. Tbh, personally, the first two episodes were okay but not the best story and treatments I've seen in my life, but the third episode gave me a lot of new aspects not just from storytelling, but also on what the writers and directors wanted to present. I find a lot of new beautiful and brave film making in the third episode. This particular sunlight embracing moment was the peak of the series. First time watching this scene with this score, ughhh... I cried in desperation cause it was so beautiful how they deliver a character of a lost and broken man who had too much fun being afraid, ends with surrendering himself to the thing he feared most but the thing he needed most. Damn it Moffat did it again!
I have no shame I put headphones on with noise cancellation and this has me in tears. It’s so beautiful yet dark mostly hit me hard due to a past of over coming what once over took my life in a medical stand point so to hear this and have a resolution with it. It is definitely superb. Also let me be very specific this obstacle was supposed to kill me so having that fear is Undescribable and then being able to have any other outcome is amazing. I can say that if I passed today I would be very happy knowing a life without that being the rope puller.
I don't think it was love (properly speaking). For me, it was respect and admiration for your enemy. Mercy is the kind of action that, I think, shows the level of respect that you have for your foe.
It's fcking incredible how in one Title can be so much emotions. You dont even have to look the series to feel what is happening in this song. I just love it.
I can't stop listening to this soundtrack, particularly this song. It's dark, beautiful melody brings me to tears, and the climax sends shudders over me while I get teary-eyed. I wish my dad was around to hear it. He gave me the love of classical music and soundtracks.
The ep 3 was indeed terrible, but the soundtrack is still amazing. And Claes Bang as Dracula, along with Agatha, carried this whole episode lol the second episode is the best for me!
I'll admit. The life of a vampire seems so appealing, inviting...why? Because I would allow myself to be bitten, gaining a new life with no physical pain, no disease, wander the world, have incredible strength, regenerate wounds in a few seconds, have eternal life and gain so much wisdom in this world...I'd rather that, than being tormented in my mind every day, being in pain all thr time, cure my tbi, take pleasure in things again, despite the cost of obtaining immortal life.
Seriously one of the most powerful endings of a story I've ever watched... and this track definitely makes it perfect.
What a song, and what a gorgeous scene. Dracula's face when he says "it's beautiful..." gets me every time.
Made me cry. So beautiful
xec tilus truly a masterpiece
I cried, a bit
Beatrice Giovanna Donvito definitely shed some tears!!
I had a feeling he was crying
Consider Count Dracula,
Who cannot bear to look in a mirror
‘Agatha’
Dracula, Who won’t stand revealed in the sun light
Who cannot enter a home without invitation
These aren’t curses
They are merely habits that become fetishes that become legends
That even you believe
The rules of the beast as we discussed long ago
But why
What are you afraid of
You are a warrior from a long line of warriors
Your grandfather died in battle
Your father, your brothers, your sons, their sons
All of them fell as hero on the battlefield
But not you
Not Count Dracula
The warlord who skulks in the shadows and steals the lives of others
Unwelcome everywhere
Who sleep in a box of dirt
Yet dreams a warrior’s grave
Who suddenly found himself in thrall of the girl in love with the thing he fears most:
Death
Now we know why this work
‘No’
Because it speaks of the courage you long to posses
The courage it takes to die
I call you ashamed
Count Dracula is ashamed
I don’t need this anymore
I’m dying
I’m doing the one thing you can never do, Dracula
‘You’re in pain’
Im equal to it
You seek to conquer death
But you cannot
Until you face it without fear
Goodbye, Count Dracula
Shuffle back to your box of dirt
The game is over. You lose.
You will live forever
In shame
‘Beautyfull’
‘Look at her agatha’
‘It’s beautyfull’
This isn’t real
this is a dream
‘Of course it is’
You’re drinking my blood
But my blood is deadly to you
‘Yes’
So you’ll die
‘So will you’
‘After all this time’
‘Did you think I’d let it hurt?’
"after all this time, did you think I'd let it hurt?"
Hate-love relationship, more like been attracted to what can kill them. Van Helsing was in love to the idea of beat Dracula and the same for the last one (or at last in their final moments)
So chilling tragically romance
Edoardo D. García Maybe Dracula never found anyone interested in him as a beast and he finally felt understood
@@angelinapepe5398 true. Like he says to Agatha in episode 2: 'After 400 years, it's nice to be finally understood.'
Aaizah Basit But the Lucy thing was totally ridiculous, the actress was not good in general and I was not convinced she was the best bride. I think Agatha was far better than her.

I've rewatched the final scene a few times. Starting from when Van Helsing rips down the curtain.
I can't stand how beautiful this track is, really.
Its hauntingly beautiful, this song 'the fear' it's almost beautifully painful.
@@ashleighclark6866 That's the comment i was searching for!
0:51 is my favourite part, it sounds like a love theme, I always think that it should be called "Van Helsing's theme" instead or "Agatha's theme"
the shadow of the cross growing above him as he surrenders to death...

THE BEST MUSIC IVE HEARD ON A TV SERIES IN A LONG TIME. JUST SAYIN. I CRIED A LITTLE BIT WHEN I HEARD IT. IT STILL GIVES ME CHILLS.

Dude, they had chemistry
They were both very charming and charismatic. I think their tension came from the danger of the relationship rather than romance
@@soulreaver4993 and the idea of getting bite or making love.. gosh

1:35 CLIMAX
(So...beautiful...)
Yes, it's the best part. It's what a sunrise sounds like if it were a song.
I don't think it was love (properly speaking). For me, it was respect and admiration for your enemy. Mercy is the kind of action that, I think, shows the level of respect that you have for your foe.
There was some chemistry there too. You can't deny that.
@@aaizahbasit4632 yes of course you are right about this 😊
Precisely. I saw it as a way of sending a fellow rival a graceful death that allowed them to die peacefully.
For me it was both along with fascination and sexual desire.
They both wanted to make love, he found a way to make the pain go away by doing that, and so both died peacefully.
it's beautiful, with the right sound system and headphones everything .. the melody is simply beautiful
loved the movies and actor Claes Bang as Dracula. And that soundtrack wow

One of the most beautiful pieces of music ihave EVER heard.
