After a 5 year hiatus from canvas mixed media compositions, I pulled out all my supplies and worked alongside this video on my own design and everything came back to me quickly. It was an instant refresher! Likewise, I empathize with the comments you received from beginners. I, too, was timid about the processes and supplies at first, but I continued to watch your videos and caught on. It's a freeing experience to use your methods and style. Thank you so much for your continued devotion to artists and those just discovering their talents!

I've been playing around with mixed media for about a year, and like you, I am not a trained artist. I also watch other artists videos to learn different techniques. I found your video the most helpful. Especially about how to choose and apply color. It's the one area I find most difficult. This project came out beautiful.

Thank you for your time in this video. I wish I had seen it last fall. It would have helped me understand why people were using products as they were. I watched the previous video that explained the various products. I was so confused with Gesso. But I have a better understanding now. As I also work with moulds and acrylic paint, this has been so helpful.

I'd like to know the product you use in your molds. A couple years or more ago I purchased every color of pigments available at that time from Prima. Now I need all that have been produced since. I like to color my own mediums with dry pigments. I love altering cigar boxes.

Very beautiful piece. It's amazing, such a lot of elements on the canvas, but my eye is always immediately drawn to that photo. The composition works perfectly! 🤗😊
