The monument you were asking about symbolises unity of Katanga people. Katanga use to be one single province but now divided in to four. in order for the people of this part of Congo to show their solidarity despite the land being divided in to four provinces, they errected this monument to seal their unity in time.
Wow that's amazing and powerful. We Congolese need unity amount all of us in order to have peace and change our country for better future. Thank you so much 🙏🏿
Oh really? Thank you. I have never been to Kinshasa but Lumbashi is a great city and I believe we can do better in cleaning it. Goma is much cleaner than Lushi
Hi, I like your idea and your video but you should be explaining places and people where to your sides, why not to ask them to tell you about places and locations. Your video is not engaging viewers. Next time try to explain and before you visit any town, try to learn the history and how people are living there. You should explain those attractive places. 20 years ago I was there but there are many changes that happened and I thought that your video could help remember the city but you didn't answer to my multiple questions about Lubumbashi. Work mire about the town and try again to come up with the same video. 👏
Thank you so much for the honest feedback. I appreciate it. This video is more of a driving around Lubumbashi, plus if you watch the entire video you will hear that I asking my driver things about lubumbashi in they're local dialect (swahili) but My driver was not keen to talk knowing I was filming even with his face off-camera. In congo, you get into big trouble for filming around, especially the place I visited and people are not familiar with or DON'T LIKE being put on camera or asked questions whilst filming so it was very difficult to create content. As well as my purpose of travelling to Congo was not all about filming, experience or tourism was more about family, reconnecting with my mother land, business and to see the changes for myself. All I can advise is to stick around and subscribe as there will be more sit-down videos where I'll share my views, my opinion, my experience, pro and cons, and businesses opportunities. If you relying on the media to show you about your country or congo. You will never know the truth and you will be discouraged to even go back, because I feel like the media lies or People get sponsored to trash Africa/ Congoa. If you are a Congolese wanting to know more about places I'm visiting in Congo inbox on my private FB or IG and l will give you my honest truth but I will not trash my beautiful country on public platforms.
Thanks Christian, I like your work and to show you my support I subscribe to your channel and hope that more videos will come soon for the places you're planning to visit. Please work again on Lubumbashi, I beg you. I'm also a vlogger and I l've to support a colleague. A lot of thanks👋
Je ne sais pas ce que vous voulez dire, mais malheureusement le racisme est partout. C'est triste à voir, mais nous devons nous traiter avec gentillesse et accepter nos différences
