    I like how to they re-used the men's and women's boulders. Ex, how men's 4 start-middle section was the same boulder as women's 2! I think W4 and M2 was identical though.

      I absolutely HATE climbing comp style problems. But damn is it fun to watch the pros do it 😄

      The route setting didn't used to be this goofy. Routes and the format are made to entertain the crowd more than they are for actually testing a climbers ability. As shown through just how height-dependent, dynamically-driven, and fast-paced (4 mins) the boulders are.
      The plus side though is that route setting like this keeps the same climbers from winning every competition, which is kind of nice. It's about being as well-rounded as possible and doesn't really support climbers that are used to having one strength to carry them to the podium.
