This song has one of my all time favorite drum tracks. Seriously amazing

I definitely don't like the band as a whole. They're really generic. His drumming is pretty solid just nowhere as interesting as Matt Greiner
Gotcha, I got into metalcore in '95 with bands like Merauder so that's why the newer metalcore stuff isn't as interesting but I like these guys...something different about them. I love Dyscarnate cause sometimes keeping it simple is better and I love grindcore like Napalm Death(old and new actually). I'm 37 so I'm starting to get that stubborn "music was better when I was younger" shit going, haha. But Thx for checking out the Dyscarnate video. Is there any ABR album that is better than others that I should check out or are they all the same?
Oh and gimme the albums where he showcases the drumming a little more. I just watched Beauty and Tragedy and it was solid but nothing crazy. I guess because I'm a drummer I like the technicality of the grind and the quads. That's prob it. Lol
Im a drummer too so. Listen to divisions and tell me that it's nothing special.
Every song August Burns Red has put out is musical/lyrical Genius. These guys are just amazing musicians. Whoever doesn't like this but claims to be a "fan" of August Burns Red needs to realize they are playing what THEY want to play.

For real! This is not no where near their worst album. They do not have a bad album. I mean, Carp Diem, Empire, Internal Cannon, Poor Millionaire are some of their best songs!
+Austin Garrett oh god, Carpe Diem is such a masterpiece. But I think Constelations and Rescue & Restore have some really strong songs as well
I love every ABR album, I wasn't a huge fan of phantom anthem or thrill seeker (weird since it's newest and oldest album) but album 8 looks like it's gonna be insane 🤘🏻
This song is classic ABR! The end breakdown and final "where is the life in the life you live?!" gives me chilllssss, so much emotion portrayed there

August burns red are so melodic and technical, yet maintain a really heavy sound... That takes true musicianship to combine the two. They are such an inspiration to me as a guitarist and the rest of my band. Pure talent.

Guys. To put any people who doubt the quality of Leveler to rest, it is equally as incredible as Constellations (including how heavy it is). You will not be disappointed with the 50 minutes you WILL bang your head to.

ABR for life, every album is PURE GOLD.
August Burns Red has yet to let me down. This song portrays both styles from Messengers and Constellations. Jake has gotten extremely better, and this song is just amazing. There is not a single problem with this song, or the other three they've released in the past months! Can't wait til Tuesday!

I'm an atheist, but August Burns Red are (and always have been) one of my favourite bands. Oh, Sleeper is another fantastic band for anybody who hasn't heard them. Eagerly awaiting any new work from ABR :D

Couldn't agree more. I haven't been religious since I was little, but 3 of my favorite bands are christian metal. I don't care what they choose to follow; it's damn good music. That, and I actually like the lyrics to this song :)

I'm athiest and I enjoy this music, it has a good message and I don't need to be Christian to see that, people can believe whatever they want and if they try to "Shove it down my throat" I just won't pay any mind. Are people so weak willed? Live true for yourself and what you do!
